For all its faults it’s crazy to see how much better MSFS 24’s ground textures look. Which, since I fly mainly helicopters, is a huge plus for me. I just can’t go back to 2020 for that reason

A great vid mate and I'm sure I'll be checking out this area.. I'm not a Huey Pilot, just a mechanic. Might have flew a few minutes while the Pilot adjusted his back side... It does tend to give you a numb bum trust me. I'm not sure if this will work in sim but to get max wok try decent from a few hundred feet at 60 knots and just slide her to the left a little. Blade slap from the ground is awesome in real life. Have Sub'd 😘

If you start getting stutters, first try delete the rolling cache. My MSFS became a stutter fest and I checked all my hardware but only when I deleted the rolling cache it went beautifully smooth again. I now have done manual cache of places that are demanding and I fly regularly like London! New York etc.

Question, does this huey relly on the CFD system and does it really simulate the semi-rigid rotor, or is it the rigid rotor simulation with added lag ?

It does use the MSFS CFD system, with regards to the semi-rigid rotor vs a rigid rotor unfortunately I don't have an answer for that.

I happened to record exactly the same video yesterday, only with the scenery from IniBuilds and with an MD500E helicopter, with a bit more action. This isn't meant to be an advertisement, I just wanted to mention it because it's funny. The scenarios look very similar though. Why do they do things twice?

@@Dreamsofwings Great! Thanks for the answer. Anything special in terms of control settings and stuff like that?
@Dreamsofwings7 ай бұрын
@mrflightsimulator3335 not really as it all varies depending on what controllers you are using. I have a warthog grip on a 15cm extension to a Virpil Warbrd base and with that setup I don’t currently have any curves set up. For me it is really key to have that instant input as flying helos is all about lot’s of tiny inputs to stay on top of it.
