jackaranda202 I'm super shy so I won't complain. But basically, I thought I was ready to do my test, and every lesson my instructor would say "next lesson we'll start procedures" but we never did. we'd do things I'd struggle with but he's never give full advice. then he got a new car, I stalled a lot. if i rolled back on a hill he said I needed more gas bit in fact I needed to find the clutch more if that makes sense. then he'd go away on holidays or just cancel. then I'd be cancelling for college. so basically, a year and a half, though only around 60 lessons. and it was terrible. Then my next instructor, had 4 great lessons...ghen he went to Poland and didn't come back hahaha. My new one, so far so good. He works alone, doesn't have a company and seems to not care so much about the money do I have hope hahaha

I watched this earlier in the week because I was nervous about my test, I passed! To all of you who are in the same position I was in right now, pay attention to this video but when you’re out practicing most importantly focus on your gut instincts when it comes to moving the wheel. Your body will tell you where to move the wheel based on the feeling of the vehicle once you have some practice. My grandparents picked me up 1.5 hours before I was supposed to arrive at the testing Center so I could practice my parallel parking right before the test. Thanks from Canada 🇨🇦

Sir, a few days ago, I found a situation when the car in front of mine was directed the opposite way such that the front end faced the front end instead of its back. I couldn't use aligning with mirror anymore. In this case, I had to align my rear end to the front end of this reference car. Only this initial step was different, the remaining steps were the same, and it worked.

@@ConduiteFacile pains me to say this, but I did not pass. I went to a road test in Yonkers, NY The instructor in my opinion was a mess. As I was fixing my mirrors he told me to turn of the car completely. How can this be? I need the car on in order to fix my mirror. Secondly, when the instructor said go; I changed gear, looked at my blind spots and mirrors and as soon as i was leaving a car comes in at full speed. I hit the break and then the instructor said to go back to my starting position. I asked for another opportunity, but his answer was " have a good day" I mean what type of professionalism is that? So I went back to the office and paid $155 for road test, car and 1 class. I wasn't nervous at all. The instructor who took us there even said " that's just bad luck" Nonetheless, I will take it again at another place in the Bronx, NY. Thank you for your comment!

I watched your videos and passed my New York state road test (I passed the test in one try)!!! I used your videos for parallel parking and not my instructor's instructions as the instructor's way of doing it was so needlessly complicated. I would definitely advise anyone taking the road test in NYC to watch your videos. I find this method is interesting. Unlike other method which consists of 3 main steps, this consists of only 2 steps. I like how the instructor gives two options of aligning when considering the sizes of our car and reference car. He even explains two different ways of turning the steer wheel in the 1st step : 360 degree and complete turn, and why he picks the former. I should practice this method, because this is more straightforward, logical, and easy to remember than the 3 steps method. Besides, I can trust this method, because the instructor also gives tips and tricks of several other things such as 90degree reverse parking,etc in his other videos which I find useful.
