Parallel Parking test at Dublin, Pennsylvania

PA drivers license test course in shopping center parking lot. Public area behind Shop N Bag in Dublin Village Plaza. Open for practice after 4:30pm on Tue - Sat and all day Sunday.

Took the test here at Dublin, PA and I was surprised how easy it was. First of all you wait and park at the front, drive to the parallel parking section (the instructor said I can choose whichever one), after completing that you go out and he told me to take a right onto Main Street, then a right at the lights, then a left further down the road, a u turn in this dead end and back to the DMV. Took about 5 minutes, very quick and easy. Just keep making it obvious you are looking at your mirrors and blind spots, take your time and turn smoothly. Good luck!

Trinity Holmes You’ll be fine. If you can, practice at Dublin. You can go on weekends and Mondays to practice the parallel parking. Get comfortable with the area, it’s a busy car park with people pulling out so take your time and look everywhere.

i remember my mom bought me cones to practice. i was so frustrated cause i couldnt park worth shit. tried about 25 times. we went to the drivers center to practice instead and i got it the first try. when mom got out she laughed and said " hey baby. i didnt give you enough space" i thought i was gonna cry

you only get 3 back ups and 3 move forwards so use them wisely

@@RealEstateWithChristin I pass first try...i had like doing the parallel parking because it was different.but if you don't have a car pay a friend to carry you often to do it.this is your passing mark...your indicator..and stopping gently YOU CAN DO THIS!

Man, it's the typical space for all test. They aren't going to have you squeezing into some tight ass spot due to most people being inexperienced.

I’m nervous my test is tomorrow 7/23/2019 I live Reno Nevada I pray that I pass wish me luck. Parallel parking is not my friend, but I did go to the DMV Sunday and practiced with the cones and also between real cars. My boyfriend was with me and he guided me on how to do it. He can parallel park with no problem.

they don't fail you if you take long. You're allowed 3 forward and 3 backups. If you bump the curb or cones, you fail.

At this testing location do you really have to come to a complete stop at the pedestrian sign!?

I don't recall a pedestrian crossing here and I don't know the details of the PA law. You may want to look up the law. Anyway, it would probably be safer to make a complete stop - I don't think they would fail you if you stopped.

Thanks for responding! I read a google review from a guy who didn't stop completly at a pedestrian sign and faild at this location. How did you like taking your test here!? I take mine next month at this location.

It was my daughter that actually took the test here. Unfortunately, she failed the parallel parking. This was the first part of the test so the officer did not continue the test. The car has a rear camera - we didn't think it could be used for the test so she did not look at it during the test. After she failed, the officer asked why she did not use it - he said that you can use the rear camera. The officer was nice. The next date at this location to take the test again was a couple months out so my daughter went to a driver test location a couple hours away in the middle of PA about one week later. She passed the second time. Good luck.

@@RealEstateWithChristin hey girl it's was super easy. You park by the curb he'll ask you all the questions about signals, emergency brake and stuff. Then parallel parking (remember you signals in and out off the parking spot) then he takes you on the road, u turn then then you're done. Good luck
