Interesting way to explain the basics of subcooling to the less experienced technician. Keep up the good work!

Was always taught, "There is no such thing as cold, its just a lack of heat" my instructor drilled home with that fact.. even physics teaches us we measure everything in energy.. Heat is energy.. energy can not be created or destroyed..

You explain things very good man lol for some reason it doesn’t sound like rocket science when you explain

Wow... A lot going on here. Thanks for making. This will get several plays to get under the belt. It looks like you can't really know what's going on in a supermarket refer unless you know about this. ("Never seen a supermarket that didn't have low-temperature cases ("ice cream cases")).

Watched a 2nd time at .75x speed. Makes sense; got it; thanks for making. Lot going on with these systems.

Waiting for your channel to blow up sir 👍 question though, why not use an economizer on the low temp liquid line like they do on chillers? The main liquid drain branches off and feeds a TXV as it enters the economzer (BPHE) thus subcooling the main liquid line that is on the other inlet/out of the BPHE before it enters its TXV to the evaporators. The vaporized refrigerant from the economizer TXV outlet would return back to the compresors occupying some volumetric room for compression which I understand you lose some capacity but it seems more self reliant than having to have another rack around to further subcool. Maybe it's not as common on supermarket refrigeration ? EDIT: I just saw the economizer setup at 11:00 ... I spoke too soon 😂😂

Lol that's OK :). I'm glad you got something out of it. Thankyou for the compliment your very kind. I honestly never even expected as manny views As i have so it's pretty crazy to me. Edit: But ultimately it just depends on design really. I am not sure if there is one way of doing things were there is a clear cut winner. A hole rack can provide greater subcooler then just a suction group. Depending on the size of the rack. Two racks protect against leaks and blow outs because you have two independent systems. So if one goes down the other will still operate. So it is really just the engineering looking at. Price Space Capacity Longevity Protection of products Safety Then designing the racks and to try to give the customer a design that would work for them.

You drew the TXV on the wrong side of the compressor
