I bought a skein of many mixes of yarns in different weights and was told to knit the thin and pearl the thick. It made the coolest and most colorful Infinity Cowl.

That yarn that's meant to be knitted or crocheted into washcloths is cool, but I'm pretty sure it would annoy my hands very quickly. Prettiest yarn I've worked with was this gorgeous silver yarn that was almost like working with straight roving because it was so loosely spun. Used it in a craft project to create a silver quarter moon in a wreath, and it came out gorgeous. Yarn I absolutely want to work with one day and blows my mind on how soft it is is alpaca yarn.
