I think it has a lot to do with men and their suppresed emotions because of toxic society, and their inner desire for brotherhood and belonging. And desire for purpose. Desire for feeling powerfull and manly. I think a lot of damaged men end up coming across all of this from reading hte comments. But the difference is, these are damaged men who don't point to others but point to themselves. Damaged men (and women too yes) who don't run away from their troubles and trauma, but towards it, wanting to heal and/or simply become a better version of themselves. That is why there is almost no negativity at all perhaps? Not sure just my thoughts. But its something special.
