This was so useful, thank you for the explanation. Iterative lifecycles always gave me anxiety, so this explanation has been so useful.

This was extremely helpfull and answered a question raised on a previous video on Hybrid. I had no idea that the Iterative (agile) lifecycle could actually fit into a waterfall/ Linear lifecycle stage (For example definition stage of a project). This video has helped so much. So i'm guessing the definition stage you could create several Models / design options that the stakeholders reveiw to make a decision on what features they wish to keep or remove with a product which also provides assurance and governance that you have fully reviewed and recieved the necessary feedback and authorisation to make an informed decision to develop the final design allowing an end product to initiate. I have only ever used RIBA waterfall lifecycle before and you explanation on this topic is very helpfull and has helped me understand the entire process with alot more clarity.

I am glad you found it useful. Yes I am sure these are opportunities for mix and match linear and agile approaches. they are complementary approaches.

In the diagram you have for the iterative life cyle 'post project' is iisted. What would happen in the post project phase? Is this equivalent to the extended life cycle ie adoption?
