Today we had a day where we were introduced to paralympic sports and wheelchair basketball was one of the stations... Everyone loved it, even people who despised regular basketball. My team was very small (we were 4 and all other teams were like 8 people) so the instructors played with us and I was actually good against them.

it does. higher point players, amputee's for example rely on their height to give them an advantage over smaller players, the low point players.

Actually there is. The rule is the player may not touch his wheels more than twice while possessing the ball (he must dribble or pass before touching his wheels a third time).

i wonder why they don't wear gloves, arent they in constant danger of getting their hands caught between their own and other wheelchairs?
@adavis112912 жыл бұрын
Look up the rules and you'd know better then. A travel does exist in wheelchair basketball. After pushing the chair twice, you must bounce the ball otherwise it's a travel and the ball will be turned over.
