Makes me happy to know there are great people, disabled or otherwise, that are helping to bring those dreams to life. Makes me happy to know there are more good people than bad in the world. All of us coming together to celebrate human tenacity & grit, sharing a universal feeling of overwhelming, tear-jerking joy. The Paralympics used to be thought of as the poor relation to the ordinary Olympics but in actual fact it's beginning to be appreciated as a very different entity with its own distinct events and rules. I enjoyed viewing these games more than the ordinary Olympics. The athletics mixed 4x4 relay race in particular, was so exciting to see! It’s impossible to have enough categories to make sport “fair” for all athletes. Because disabilities are so individual and where are you going to get enough opponents with exactly the same diagnosis. But the good thing is that we don’t really care too much. We are just enjoying our sport and challenging ourselves. There aren’t many financial gains in winning for disabled athletes, and when you have had a life threatening major illness or injury, you often have a different mind set.

I'm so glad we are getting closer and closer to times where all people's needs are accomodated and they can compete and take part in sports and other activities the way they want to, instead of being ignored and just told that they are not worthy or that their way of doing things is wrong because they can't do things the same way abled people to them. It makes me happy to see more and more people gain agency! People with disabilities deserve it all and I'm glad their fight for equal rights, their hard work seems to be paying off!

Alex Zanardi´s Triumph is so special for a motorsport fan. Seeing from what he has come to achieve this, is just crazy and very admirable. Paralympics don´t get the big attention as the Olympics, but it´s definitely on the same level, if not even better. Those people could beat over 99.9% of the people on earth despite their huge disadvantages. Just admiring that you can reach such crazy things if you worked hard for it.
