Yogananda s greatness is beyond description. His words, even read today, have a precious vibration as so does his blessed name.

@@star4evr9 In his CONVERSATIONS WITH GOD books the author Neale D. Walsch is told several times that Yogananda is one of the great souls of our time, a higher endorsement is impossible. Read his Autobiography of a Yogi and you may be touched forever by his vibration, even if you do not feel attracted by his path of Kriya Yoga.

Paramhansa Yogananda was the Son of GOD. In his highest state of meditation (Samadhi) he was in full association with the cosmic realm. As his direct deciples observed "a mere glance, or touch or his presence made the devotees feel intense vibrations.

For those of you who are new to meditation - don’t worry about controlling thoughts or feelings, learn how to observe them as they come up the same way you “people watch”. Experience them as sensations. This takes time but not effort - in fact effort gets in the way - combined with intention to increase awareness over identifying with your thoughts. I meet so many people who want to meditate but truly believe they can’t because they can’t control their mind activities. I’m a long time meditator now and for years and years it felt like a chore but in doing it anyway - the pay off is enormous. Not one of my “bad” thought filled sessions was a waste of time. There are hundreds of techniques- find one that suits you and just simply do it with the intention to increase your awareness and diminish your attachment to thoughts and emotions. It is not boring or complicated but it will feel that way at first. Here’s what I’ve learned; “ 12:07 the peace which surpasses all understanding” is in all of us all the time and once you taste it, there is nothing else worth pursuing. Also don’t talk about it. Keep your journey to yourself - the more you avoid talking about it the more is revealed to you. There’s a shift happening right now - we all feel it - and if we dedicate ourselves to bringing this peace into our lives there will be a peaceful world. You can doubt this AND still manifest it that’s what meditation is for.

Do you know why we're not supposed to talk about it? I've Asked question this on this journey and wondered if this is accurate. I know there's a lot that can't be understood by others without the living experience of it. my natural inclination when progress happens on this path is to want to share it with someone close to me. If they either seem disinterested or have nothing to say I stop sharing. the other natural inclination is as I find God myself, I want to share with others when I feel that it's the correct time to do so about aspects of what I'm learning. I have told others more in-depth experiences that I've had. but mainly if I know that they have had spiritual experiences themselves. I would appreciate any insight that you can give me into why we should not share.
@jenmdawg
@jenmdawg Жыл бұрын
@@julina4547 you are free to share it anytime you wish! If you can do it with no agenda then it can be very powerful but it’s really really hard to speak without an agenda for almost all of us. No matter how well intentioned, the agenda will lack the power that you wish to share. The ideal is to be asked what your secret is - in this way god will “take over” your words.
@julina4547
@julina4547 Жыл бұрын
@@jenmdawg Thank you for your input. I really appreciate it. Please correct me if I'm not understanding this because I'm genuinely trying to learn. So it's not that there's anything intrinsically wrong with sharing our Spiritual experiences or knowledge. The best scenario would be more like, if someone were to ask us about our experiences or knowledge because that way God could more readily use us as a vessel and would be free to speak through us. Then it wouldn't be our ego trying to impose its agenda on others being mistaken by us as God speaking through us. And I guess the reason that God would give a person less experiences after sharing spiritual experiences or knowledge is because if they're sharing from the standpoint of their agenda rather than God's word coming through them, that would be feeding into a development of their ego rather than the dissolving of it. Thank you very much. Once again, I really appreciate your time and the help that you have already given and that you are further willing to give.🙏😊
@jenmdawg
@jenmdawg Жыл бұрын
@@julina4547 you have it 99%. God will not withhold his insight from us ever no matter what but it is always up to us to remove the obstacles between us and God. Silence is an important part of this. Don’t be fearful of sharing though - you may have a gift that others need to see/hear but the “ideal” is to attract the seekers to you. Also, sometimes when we share, we can’t help but do so in hope it will change the other person rather than enhance the person. You’ll know the difference as you grow (or rather as you shed all that blocks you from bliss).

Watching this on Easter, it’s so nice to see love for god without the dogma, I grew up in a Christian church and always had tons of respect but the dogma was just to much for even my young mind. I’m so glad I went my own way, Iv connected most with Vedanta and the fact we are all sparks of god ❤️ Might I add, in the right mindstate god is impossible to miss. Love you all and hope you all can see through the eyes of a child of god

Your sins are forgiven. This is what Jesus mission was here for. He followed his father’s will and died for all your sins and was resurrected. If you feel that as a truth in your heart and with your heart and mouth surrender to Him as a lord and saviour based on His word and your decision you are born again of God’s Spirit (what Jesus told Nicodemus) and go directly to Him
