ET suctioning is a sterile procedure. If we were allowed to do it like this, I wouldn't be nearly as stressed out about my registry coming up. Thank you so much for these videos!

Depends on where you are. If we drop a tube or an SGA its "required" to drop an et tube for suction. It's not as scary as you think.

I would have got dinged for not checking breath sounds after securing the tube, and saying that I'd check the tube everytime the pt was moved. And they wont accept us using a capnograph on a pulseless pt. My go to is fog in the tube and the turkey baster. Good video though, thank you.

Should be a sterile ET tube. Should remove stylet BEFORE inflating bulb. Should demonstrate verifying lung sounds BEFORE intubation. Thanks for the video.
