Wow life and adulthood has been so overwhelming lately, but when I listen to this song, I am reminded that it is a universal feeling we all experience. Ain’t it fun to all be on this journey together? If you are reading this, I am sending you all the love and positive vibes - and I hope you conclude your days with a smile on your face.

Ive met her once, I couldn’t believe it was her for real! She’s so nice, (she came at the restaurant i was working for in Brooklyn NYC) I offered her a dessert and left her a note “thank you for the music i love you” she actually saved that piece of paper in her phone case and i saw it months after in one of her selfies in front of the mirror , she still had it ❤️

I love how sarcastic this song is. Like it’s so uptempo and sounds like a nice happy song about growing up and wanting to be an adult. Until you actually grow up and realize that this song is actually talking about how much reality hits hard and the world is such a hard place to handle and you wish you were a kid again... *sigh*

At 24 years old, I’m finally getting my life together and I finally feel like an adult. I remember when I heard this song a few years ago and I knew this song was talking to me. I know I waited too late but I’m finally growing up. I finally got the job, I have an online business, my credit is good, and I have money saved up to get a house one day.

Rephrase: They've always been rock.Just because 1D or 5SOS has guitar and drums doesn't make them a strong form of the genre. They sound like Pop Teen Rock which is really diluted. Paramore entertains the mass and keeps the sound. They're still POP PUNK. They started that way.

This perfectly encapsulates the transition from high school to outside these days. Public school is a bubble and most people goof off only to get hit by reality afterwards, and these lyrics perfectly explain the way it is. It's not only high school. It's the transition from school in general, to work. Possibly even the difference between living with your parents, and living on your own. It's basically telling you that you aren't necessarily as grown up as you think you are. And I can agree, because I can see a lot of people, supposedly mature adults and children, myself included, getting hit hard when they realise that they can't always have their cake.
