This is a fun one for sure…but their first album is a masterpiece and so different from the rest of their stuff

Paramore is one of the few 2000s bands that have aged well. A few more fire tracks you might want to check out: "Only Exception" (ballad) and "Airplanes" (duet with B.o.B.)

Guys Red Head that can sing... Lush. Their biggest hit in the US was Single Girl. They were huge in the Uk this same era... Their best song is Undertow... Same title as one of Tool's best🤣

I want to compliment you guys for actually talking about the words of the song and not allowing yourselves to be completely distracted by the video. The words to this song are very profound and deep and something all young people need to hear at least once in their lives. The best lines in the song are in the very first verse: I don't mind Letting you down easy, but just give it time If it don't hurt now then just wait, just wait a while You're not the big fish in the pond no more YOU are what THEY'RE feeding on." This song is kind of high school fable: You make it big in football or cheerleading and you think you are master of the universe...for a minute. Then you take it out of town and you realize that it's not the plan. I thought the video was silly until I realized the underlying message: Records are made to be broken. Or as they say in Hollywood: you're only as good as your last movie. That's the real world. How much fun??

Paramore's one of the few current/recent bands that have done a good job of remaining somewhat musically versatile. They can do upbeat pop songs like "Ain't It Fun" here or a song like "Misery Business" with a bit more rock edge to it. It should also be noted that "Ain't It Fun" won the Grammy Award for Best Rock Song. In the end, one can like or not like Paramore but, at the least, there should be a grudging respect that the band offers quite a bit in a musical landscape today that seems to be bereft of authentic acts.

However, no one can dispute that Paramore hasn't had more than its fair share of success for some time. It looks like the song has been sampled 3 times so far, as recently as last year. However, the true impressive stat is that the song has been covered so far nearly 20 times. From a genre specific perspective, the most unique covers appear to be an "easy listening" version by the Vitamin String Quartet (first link above), a jazz/blues cover by Justin Klunk featuring Devon Jane (second link above), and a more "classical" type arrangement from the Midnite String Quartet (the third link above). All seem to give intriguing takes on this tune. After a 1970s prog rock detour with ELP, time to get ourselves into some more recent 21st Century music, so let's go! 😁

Like when all the "cool kids" in the late 70s denounced ABBA and swore they hadn't, and never would, listen to a song of theirs but secretly seemed to know all the choruses to all the popular singles.

Guys, hello. Please watch Dimash's video "The Story of One Sky", he wrote the music, script and produced. It took three years and seven million dollars were spent, which is two million more than the most expensive video in the world, JACKSON MICHAEL'S THRILLER, cost. And be sure to watch to the end, there will be Dimash’s message to the world. I also recommend two of his videos, When i got you and BE with me. This will give you a lot of views from millions of Dimash fans. ❤

Not bad, I listened to this song, probably since 2013, from this album I began to take the Paramore group seriously, because before that I didn’t like their work at all, then two more albums would be released in 2014 and 2018, which were no worse than this .
