I think we all hated to lose Maggie, but had she not left for college we would have never known how incredible Chase is. Who knew we NEEDED three foxes until Maggie came back and we had three incredible female singers with completely different voices that happen to blend together PERFECTLY. Chase absolutely KILLS this song!

Big Paramore fan and have never heard a more faithful, respectful performance capture the energy of the original song…the vocals yah I heard some that approach those here, never have I heard the musicianship combined with the vocals at the correct pace…not rushed…rendered faithfully to the original…well done all the bases covered and the same pace of the music spot on. This is how vocal excellence and musicianship on very difficult song are rendered. Wow.

It just floors me how Sammie is so secure, comfortable and confident in being back up vocal so much. I mean we all know she's absolutely capable, and her father is in the band. I mean someone with an ego would want to be out front most of the time. Not Sammie though, she knows what works, she knows what fits. She's secure with herself and professional. Her character and dispositions blows me away. What an amazing talented singer. What a Awesome young lady.

One of your (many) fans commented on one of your other videos that the band was "in the pocket". I think that that is what F & F has in spades - the ability to have voices and instruments meet so many times at that sweet spot that make songs and music transcend individuality and merge into something so special it can touch your soul. Wow, that was a mouthful, but this video was another example of you guys nailing if without any extra ego or unnecessary crap - just a joy in making the music that really shines through. The rhythm section in general. Johnny Pike turns in quite a performance on this tune. Just listening to it again for maybe the tenth time it strikes my how much heavier the bottom of this tune is than the top. If you listen to just the bass and drums it's pretty close to metal. Much more of a pop tune 'up top' with the vocals, guitar and piano.

Dale White I agree with you. I’ve also posted a request for a video of behind the scenes. Who is responsible for the audio mix and the equipment used. I hope they will.

Richard Sherwood Tim does almost all post performance work. I’m not a Sound engineer, but Tim explains elsewhere in these thousands of comments, that (in my simple layman’s mind & interpretation of what he said), is that each instrument and voice is recorded in its own track as they perform live and in “post performance mixing” this makes a big difference. I should add they sometimes have a “sound guy” on a board of some type during performances. On occasion you can see/hear Tim communicating with him.
@petervanderwaart11385 жыл бұрын
Absolutely! The balance of the instruments is a big reason they sound so good, especially the way you can really hear the bass.
