I get that fans are angry or saddened that they've changed their genre and style, but the meaning is still there. Daydreaming, Hate to See Your Heartbreak, Last Hope, Anklebiters, the Interludes, hell the entire album is an example that they still write the kind of music they love. The passion is there. I get this feeling that a lot people complaining just haven't heard the entire album. It's okay to dislike the newer sound, because it IS slightly different, but whining about it doesn't really get you anywhere. I know people have opinions, it just gets tiring seeing every other comment bitching about how different they are now. On a positive note, no words can describe how much I love this song.

Alex Fretz Also if they truly cared about Paramore both as a band and as people, they'd be happy. Both that they are making music that makes them happy and that they love (to paraphrase Taylor, if you like it, who cares and Anklebiters: Why do you care what people think are you hooked up to their leash?. (I am paramore trash officially)) but also that they aren't angry anymore. Their old style of music was great, and I love it with all my heart, but it was all about anger and pain and suffering. They should really just be glad that the band (espec. Hayley, since she is the lyricist) don't have to go through that anymore. I'm sorry I just feel super strongly about people like this, I love Paramore way too much and they've got me through way too much to watch people say that about them.

The fact that i been living twenty two years on the same city that i was born (and hearing this same song for almost seven years) thinking about the future, you start to see how deep and meaningful this song is. Is not about hate this place that i called home for all my life, its just that my future, the one i want isn´t here, and i need to start to chase him somewhere he can be real. Damn this hits hard on me.

Saw Paramore live in Manchester September 20th, Standing tickets so was close-ish to the front, it was literally like living a dream, just seeing 3 of people who without knowing it have helped through so many bad times in my life and helped me celebrate the good. I owe Hayley, Jeremy, Tom etc. so much more than the mere £30 I payed for the ticket, the best thing was I didn't even feel upset after it was over, I'd just seen my idols live and had many pictures and videos, but more importantly memories... I seriously CAN NOT WAIT for their new album which should be out this year! I am the same obviously everyones going to enjoy certain albums over others i have to say self titled is one of my fave albums EVER but all of paramores albums are GOLD, self titled is just more PERFECTED as a whole album with a signature sound, in this album you can tell they FOUND their self..and held a signature sound and theme that translates through their whole album. I am also waiting for Melanie Martinez and lana del reys new albums.. i can NOT WAIT to hear where Melanie takes her crybaby sound too and i already love the sound of lana del rey's new albums first single Love ..lanas signature sound NEVER changes but somehow she can change the atmosphere into something that sounds new every album and this time this album sounds retro futuristic. GREAT music to come this year and i am exited..hopefully the songs are actually bangers because TBH alot of artists recently haven't dropped any bangers, i love Katy perry but Slave To The Ry them just isn't that good and RISE was just terrible. If bieber dropped PURPOSE around this time his songs would wipe Katy's and alot of others music straight from the top spots.. What a fantastic album Bieber dropped. It's as if some artists lose their Mojo lately.. Fair enough if an artist seems to have lost their mojo but i think Paramore have successfully transitioned their Mojo hence why they won their first Grammy.

Been hooked since 2013. I heard about them when their self entitled album came out, I was too young to know their music before then I guess. I'm turning 14, in 2016, so I was 11 when I discovered them. I heard crushcrushcrush and the only exception and misery business on the radio all the time when I was younger, so I guess that's why it was so familiar when I listened to it. Overall paramore is such an underrated band, and just because Jeremy or Josh and Zac left, it doesn't stop them from being paramore.. It's breaks my heart to see how courageous these two girls were to gatecrash just to see Paramore an hour before their concert. Coz thats what we exactly planned when Paramore went in Manila, Philippines for Parathrilla in Manila 2 (Feb 15, 2013). The guards were just so strict and damn irritating. I understand they're doing their jobs and that is CRASHING OUR MEET N GREET DREAM. We failed, yea. So we followed Paramore in the Shangrila Hotel, got there at 12am and leave there at 12nn. It took every ounce of courage just to stay awake with the burning hope of seeing Paramore, personally. When 10 am came, we were given the tip where Paramore would exactly come out. So we waited there until 11 am. (knowing that Paramore's flight was 2pm) But weve seen no shadow of them. My friend texted me to go up in the lobby coz the foreign bouncer told him that it's where Paramore's taking their step out. Then we waited there until 12pm along with, like, 20 fans, but weve seen no shadow of them still. We want back to the secret exit and asked the guard if he had seen any red-haired american girl in the place, and told us, "Yea. Paramore? They actually head out just 15mins ago." Our whole world crashed like there's no hope for tomorrow. Imagine we waited, keep watched and stay awake for 12 straight hours.. and we were just deceived by the bouncers. We were so pissed and broken that day. And honestly until now, Nov 23, 2013, we havent moved on yet. Coz I swear to see Paramore especially Hayley was one of the very and biggest things ive been praying to God ever. I never failed to pray for that. Huhuhuh. I'll someday see you face-to-face Hayley, Jeremy and Taylor. I know God would make me see you guys and sing along with you. I still have my hopes up! Knowing that my God is a generous God and that he'll someday grant/give me that prayer/gift. Hihihihihi. I LOVE YOU GUYS! (I really mean it) I LOVE YOU SO MUCH HAYLEY! You deserve every good things that you have now. Keep killin' it! GOD BLESS YOU PARAMORE! LONG LIVE! ;)

It's more than a music video to me. Paramore forms a big part of my life. What i just meant to say was, I was touched by the video coz I kind of see myself in it :)

I always play this song when I'm on the road. It's a typical road song. Still ST is one of the greatest album the band has ever made. I really miss this era, because they genuinely seemed much happier than before. I'm so proud and thankful that I got to see them during the ST era twice in my country, the Netherlands: pinkpop 2013 and Heineken music hall 2013. PARAMORE FOREVER❤️

That's exactly the story of how I went to a Paramore concert last year, only I hadn't had a chance to sneak through security and have Hayley similing at me.

I want to run away. A lot. My dad is never home, he hates me, my parents never do anything but fight with me and insult me. They don't believe I have mental illnesses and PTSD from having cancer. They tell me everything i think is wrong. I turned to self harm. When i want to end it all, i come here. I daydream about how much better life will be when i'm older. Just three more years. I know i can make it out of here.

I was able to see them in live the other day in Barcelona after 5 years of being a fan and now every time I listen to this song it makes me wanna cry of joy because I remember that I have fulfilled a dream that I thought I never would. Thanks Paramore.

I feel the same. I've been a fan since the early 2000's. Seeing them for the first time tomorrow night in Melbourne Australia. It's actually feels like a relief that I've got a ticket. Cannot wait.

Haha yeah I don't listen most popular music (with Taylor swift being the only exception; it's a guilty pleasure) #hipsterprick ha but really at parties it's always fun to win the "guess what song I'm playing" game. I also love panic! At the Disco and As it is; a fairly new pop punk band. :)

People think that they have changed .. but the truth is not because they're still the same though they are only 3 now .. they still can perform and be strong though the other member of them left them . LOVE YOU PARAMORE

I've grown up with Paramore. Adoring them, their genre, every lyric they've written. They've been a huge inspiration to me as a musician, and seeing them from where they started to where they ended up has been a real pleasure. To the fans who wish for the "old" Paramore back, artists need room to grow and and expand on their musical career. I can understand the need to switch it up and I feel like we need to respect that and to see where their creative minds take them. To the fans who love Paramore now as much as they did when they first started out, you get it. ;) You get it.

This is definitly one of my favorite songs! Paramore is forever the name of a band that for me means the sound of my feelings, a sound I have shared with the people I love the most, this is the kind of things I cannot explain by another word that isn't magic, because magic is a thing that surprises us, moves us and marks us, it is unique and talking about this, it has an excellent musical taste. Respect to the magicians that in my opinion have done pieces of art! And... wow, how incredible this song is! 🌟

It amazes me each time I stumble upon discovering another of Paramore's songs I haven't ever heard of. I haven't yet heard a song sang by Hayley Williams that I didn't enjoy on some level. It's a real tragedy that so many amazing groups eventually separate and their members go their own ways... fortunately, their inspirations are immortalized for their fans.

Absolutely adore this song. I remember when I first listened to paramore in primary school and people would look at me and be all "Your Jamaican how can you listen this ". They still don't understand the impact this type of music has on me, on people across the world .

Paramore wasn't even nominated for one grammy for anything on their album, complete bullshit this album is one of the best albums i've ever heard, a album where i love every single song. So UP the grammys for not recognising real unique music and also recognising the AMAZING vocal talent of hayley and how hard she's worked on her voice her her whole career. Nobody sings like she can and nobody has the vocal range control she has.
@Christianoul11 жыл бұрын
To tell the truth, I think this one is by far inferior to Brand New Eyes, but it's still a very good album, indeed.
@JohnAIDoe11 жыл бұрын
Well now, the establishment only want to promote their own people. Majority of their nominee can't even sing live right.
@foxylussy10 жыл бұрын
You're right, but on another hand I don't think that awards are the most important thing they care about. I think indeed that it's a shame that today musical industry is incapable of seeing people who worked extremely hard and put all their heart and soul in a record (any of them), or of rewarding these same people. But like I said, I don't think that it really matters in the end, because as long as there will be loving fans behind them, supporting them from all their heart, they are happy, because thanks to these fans, they can eat at the end of the month (and a lot more of course but you get the meaning), they can live their dream and discover amazing places, meet new people everyday and do something they love as their job. And I think that an award can't bring them that, it might just bring them some respect and aknowledgment from this very music industry that doesn't even understand their music. Anyway. It's just my humble thought about that. No award can replace what you live when you're living your passion everyday and are paid and loved for that. (: x
