Oh, so many times have I sung along to this in the shower and cried my eyes out. This album is truly special. Despite being long time fan who still primarily listens to Pop Punk, I honestly think this is my favorite Paramore album. Thank you for continuing to get me through the hard times ❤

What I would do to hear this song live. I read somewhere that the band wasn't ever going to play Tell Me How anytime soon because of how emotional the song was and how it made them feel. I think playing this song really showcased how strong they really are as individuals and how full circle they've come through the AL cycle, beautiful.

Honestly the way they talked about Misery Business gave me hope about their future. If they felt okay saying we are taking a break from playing this for a while at least that means they will be playing again. They are in such a better place now and I'm excited. This album has helped me so much.

Yes, that's what I took from it too. I feel like they will take a bit of a break before the next album, though.

The power in the room during this song was insane. So much emotion. So much emotion and power given in every song played from ‘After Laughter’ that night. In total, they played the whole album (although not in order) and it was fucking beautiful. I wish everyone could’ve been there and seeing how happy being there made my girlfriend made going broke for the trip to Nashville so worth it. What a show.
@Mountaingoat42345 жыл бұрын
Oooohhh this hurts. It's so beautiful, but it hurts. You can see the hurt this song brings to Hayley in her body, especially in the beginning before she comes in when she's pacing and then gripping her shirt a lot throughout the song and balling her fists. 😭

i began to get more into paramore during one of the hardest times of my life; when i was finally getting help for my mental health issues, self harm habits and suicidal thoughts after multiple suicide attempts. i didn’t have my phone so that meant no music, no communication to the outside world unless i snuck onto the computer and texted my girlfriend on there. but music was always my escape, no matter where i went and where i’m at. i listened to my music cd’s; blurryface by tøp, afycso and doab by p!atd, and then after laughter by paramore. my girlfriend helped me rediscover paramore when she played a paramore song and i recognized it from my childhood, asking her what was the name. it was probably ‘aint it fun’ or a song from their self titled album. either way, i was beyond ecstatic to find them again. paramore is apart of the reason i found peace and solace. every time i come back to paramore, i just... i feel happy. tell me how was one of my fav songs from after laughter and from paramore, along w ain’t it fun, rose-colored boy, idle worship, etc. bless this band and their souls.💕

from the first moment I heard this song, I knew it would be special to me. It helped me in so many moments, helped me to understand that as we get older we lose people, turn away from others, and thats part of life. In the last part, when she says "You don't have to tell me if you ever think of me, I know you see me dancing wildly in the gof of your memory. You don't have to tell me, cuz I can still believe" I feel embraced by her, and that''s a very particular feeling. When music makes me feel exactly like that, i know it will be forever in me, part of my history. I was right. This song has the power to relieve the pain in moments when no one its around. Also surfaced in one of the darkest moments of my life and, again, music was my best companion. Thank you Hayley.
