Starting with the angry and energetic teenage - early twenties, moving to depressive and sad late 20's and now for a little sad but more accepting 30's. So powerful and haunting at the same time, gets stuck in your head with the first listen, an absolute perfect closure for the album. Hayley’s voice sounds so much older and even down the guitar playing sounds more mature in a way. Paramore is definitely a band that has evolved their sound in the best way possible from Misery Business, to Brick by Boring Brick, to Still Into You, to Rose Colored Boy, to this masterpiece. Thick Skull reminds me of that old saying, no matter how much water you pour on a rock it will always flow out (unless it's chemical weathering over time, you'll just end up breaking it). If you are thick skull'd nothing can get through your head. You'll repeat the same lesson over and over again. But the song sounds like the person no longer wants to be thick skull'd because "thick skull never did nothing to me". This song gives a crazy mind trip. Everytime I listen to it feels like the first.

The lyrics on this one and the climactic build up to the bridge and last chorus is so brilliant. I didn’t realise this is the final track and after I felt so empty.
