Will it work for freefligh paraglider? Can you fly down from small slopes or fly on the ridge on this harness?

Illa you sure can, but it won’t be very comfortable for a longer flight and their website specifically says not for free flight. Just to cover their butt.

It's great for dune flying but not for paragliding. Speed flying perhaps but I'm not on that level yet

I have a stupid/newbie question... Is it not necessary to have a seat board on a kiting harness? I've seen videos of people kiting, and they all were siting on a seat board.

It is not. The seat board harnesses are nice, but they run around 300-500 bucks. To learn how to Kite a paramotor glider, thst feature would be nice, but it is not necessary.
