I have seen a lot of videos regarding how to properly lay the wing on the ground, but since it has to move through the airflow of the propeller as it comes up and inflates, thus I think the role of luck for the wing to come up evenly is still significant. I think the learning here is to keep the trike/quad moving forward.

For me it was the first few seconds after my first take off. My brain registered I was actually leaving the ground and it took a few moments before I got over the instinct that we're not actually meant to fly.... It looks like these gentlemen got proper training. Landing is just great fun. The less pilot input the nicer it lands. Flying is epic!

You can't feel what the wing is doing with line guides. Once you get use to checking the wing and taxing we add the line guides.

so can you fly all day? I keep hearing some say no just morning and evening. others say yes all day unless to much wind.
@Spin2329

Normally on warm or hot days we fly in the morning and evenings. Thermal activity during the day can be dangerous if you don't have the proper training and safety equipment. Winter months we can fly all day when the high temps reach 50's-60's. Usually when the temps reach 70 and above you will notice the thermal activity becomes more aggressive. Reflex gliders help smooth the bumps and aren't as responsive to thermal activity. Wind is your main factor; go to www.ryancarlton.com and check your upper level winds before heading to the field. Newbies 10mph and below. Take off winds for newbies are best between 3-6MPH. Cheers
