Love this scene, just noticing the accordion player on the float going absolutely ham even though you can't hear her at all in the mix. That's commitment!

I just love the idea of it. You're chilling at a street fair and out of nowhere your significant other is on stage in a parade they have nothing to do with. It's perfection.

Awesome classic scene! FYI when he falls over at end & is caught by the extras, Mathew Broderick later said in an interview he was overpowered by the massive energy from the roaring & cheering of the crowd so much so that it caused him to basically pass out & fall back. That was real cheering in that scene! He also said they never imagined it would be that big of a crowd & reaction - cool bit of classic cinema history no doubt lol

Kids today are too afraid to do anything. My daughter graduated this year and I encouraged her to have some fun in highschool and when you get older you will look back at those memories and realize how much fun you had but she didn't do anything because nobody else would. I've never seen a generation so boring. They didn't even have senior skip day or anything. I didn't want her doing some of the things I did but I wanted her to have some fun
