Paramount - can I just compliment you guys on actually doing sequels justice, with the likes of Top Gun 2 and Smile 2. My two top movies since the 2020's started. Smile 2 is incredibly good. Well done Parker Finn! I watched it more than a month ago and I'm still obsessed with watching people analysing it online. Honestly, this film deserves so many rewards on so many levels. I still have absolutely no idea on how to REALLY interpret this and I think that alone is probably one of the reasons I find this so incredibly fascinating. Because this is what art is supposed to do. It leaves the audience to interpret the work, in so many different ways, that there's no true consensus, except on this one thing: it's just art. Oh, how I wish I could now sit in my film studies/film history professor's class and hear his opinion on this. Although... his final assessment would probably also have been: It's open to interpretation. Haha. How brilliant. Thank you for great entertainment!

I absolutely ADORED the jumpscares and there was a point where I genuinely felt like Skye was one of many celebrities who are vilified by the media just because they're struggling with mental health issues. Like, evil metaphysical being aside, there are many Skyes out there and people don't spare an ounce of sympathy. The press turns their lives and horrors into a circus, just to sell newspapers or gain views on TikTok. It's sad.
