I believed Luke Grimes (Kacey Dutton) nailed down his acting performance in this last episode. His soldier spirit was revealed again and with an utmost emotion control, tried to solve his father’s COD. I watched the scenes between him and the coroner a few times and enjoyed every time like the first time!

When they put Yellowstone behind an extra paywall halfway through the season, I refused to pay more just to watch one show. Now that you've told me that John was killed, I don't need to struggle anymore about my decision not to pay because I know that the show is going to devolve into more of a soap opera. Thanks for saving me the money.

S2 when Jamie is trying to commit suicide, John convinces him not to, and if we come to the ending that John the God committed suicide, then we've a problem.
