You really surmised a lot of what made this anime great but also what my Kon great in general. He really took his art seriously and understood that art can and should challenge people. He showed a lot of different characters with a lot of different ailments and neurosis. Daryl Surat of Anime World Order(a long running anime podcast) pointed something out in one of his Kon reviews that always stuck with me is that Kon isn't afraid to make his characters ugly. Emotionally but also physically he shows the worst side of people which makes his anime very unique because a lot of the medium is about idealization to a certain extent. I can tell just based off your expressions that you really enjoyed it. One thing that I am surprised that you brought up is how dense it is, you really have to pay close attention and even rewatch episodes because their isn't much wasted time. Just for my two cents I think the best way to review anything is to not be too formulaic just let your thoughts flow and just keep a little reminder about what were the most important points you want to touch on so you don't ramble. This keeps the content organic but also not too unfocused. Good review btw

Thank you for the well written reply! I appreciate the insight I'll definitely be more organic going forward and not sure if I messed up but I was basically trying to say with the dense comment a lot of good information is packed in there so I must of not delivered what I meant properly. I'll be revisiting this series soon for sure!
