Great music choice and great ambience! I appreciate the commitment to the voice acting, but I'd supplement more of it with the show and video game lines for authenticity and variety. I remember when we landed on Umbara. You couldn't see shit past 3 meters, I got lucky my model 97 was loaded all the time and i had my knife always by my chest. I was tasked to relief the troops back at the Umbaran air base. After too many casualties, I decided to change my tactic, burn them, but most importantly, burn their fucking eyes. Umbaran eyes don't resist the sweet fire of the Willy Pete that conforts you in the deepest night. I got less casualties but it still left me a bitter taste in the mouth, obviously I requested newer, lighter artillery pieces that wouldn't come until years, AV-7 are too cumbersome to move through Umbaran jungle and mortar can't punch through most of their bunkers. It took me 2 weeks to finally relieve the garisson of the air base, I was unlucky to find it commandeered by general Pong Krell, I hated the Jedi order already after what happened at the beginning of the war, now I hated them more. As my troops and the supplies I carried finally arrived, Pong Krell ordered us to go over the top, against one of the thickest lines of the Umbaran defense to his knowledge. As I was skeptical of it, I decided to launch as it is my motto, an artillery barrage of illuminating rounds into the fortress. I sent out some probing attacks to check if the defenders were still kicking, which they shouldn't. It wasn't at all, two platoons went straight below 50% combat effectiveness. I decided to pull back, something was amiss, all the blaster bolts I saw passing by were blue, but I knew it for sure, Umbaran gas was green. I got lucky the old man was here, he gave me a tip, once again lightning up the whole battlefield but, I must make sure I did not went over the top for fighting, but to speak with the defenders. He was damn right, I'm not sure of how the old man was right, but he was right, we were engaging the 7th sky corps, lead by Waxer. According to his intelligence, we were Umbarans too, while our intelligence claimed he was the Umbarans. His intel came from Pong Krell as well. I knew it, it was a time of treason, I got lucky the model 97 was perfect to fight jedi, a pellet shot with a magnetic acceleration instead of a chemical one From CC-3570 "Camouflage" diary about the Umbara campaign, incomplete, as read in 17 BBY
