We're gonna have to get a Black Sabbath expert for that one 😂 At least someone with a higher vocal range than me
@JIKwood Жыл бұрын
@@LaszloBuringyou probably don't have to go far on KZbin to find some other talented artists that you could maybe work with or help. Richaadeb, Little V, and Jonathan Young are all talented and work together so maybe reaching out to them. At least Little V or Jonathan Young for vocals. Then have Richaadeb on the guitar (maybe with you) and you got something going.

WOW, I'm like....stunned!!! Being a Sabbath fan for 50+ years, I'm blown away!! You are VERY talented, you've got Knopfler's bright, crisp, but gentle rhythmic style down like it's your own! It's definitely Sabbath's song, but Dire Straits took control of it! You are a musical genius, very talented axe-man, and a joy to listen to! Subscribed!!!

This is great, in terms of music & musicality, and a dose of whimsy and humor. You've really added some "Essence of Dire Straits" to this, and your vocals are definitely Knopfler-ish in tone and style. I bet Mark will enjoy this, if he hasn't already heard it. And (surprise surprise) you've actually given me a mental poke to have a try at "Dire Straiting" another piece of music, completely different original style, but well known to many musicians who've played in jazz ensembles as well as rock bands. The idea kind of passed in one ear and rattle around for a few day, then I set it aside. However, your work has given me some new inspiration, and a new approach. Perhaps I'll post it for general comment, if it turns out as a halfway decent tune. You've done a really nice job on this - thank you for composing it, and posting this video. Truly enjoyable.

Great that you went early Straits for this - really suits it. I did wonder where you might pitch it... I'm thinking that although it's very Sultans-based, there's maybe a Communiqué-esque polish to it? Just a touch more lyrical and a bit more harmonically sophisticated than the first album sound. But unmistakably pre-1980 - and totally brilliant.
