Paranormal Activity at Robinson Woods Burial Grounds, Norridge, IL

I was the cameraman on this segment for CLTV's daily entertainment show "Metromix." During this segment we interviewed Mary Czerwinski as we took a look at the haunted burial grounds at Robinson Woods in Norridge, Illinois.

I went there last night with 2 other people at around 2am until 3:30ish am. Nothing happened we went there expecting paranormal activity, ghost haunting. Going in we were in suspense. But after a while it just felt like whatever. It was late weather was about 37 degrees fahrenheit. We were armed in case some crazy nigga would be there like a hostile homeless person. Nothing creepy happened it ended up being really fun lmao. Even at the burial ground it was lit. The only thing we worried about was the dam plants with thorns. Eventually we started lighting up glowsticks and swinging them around n dancing with them. We took pictures with a night vision camera. Then we found a "Trail Post" post n started throwing glow stick rings trying to make on the post for about 20 min. Then we yelled some words a bit to listen to our echo. Then as we left we saw like 5 deer it was magical. It was a much more positive fun experience than what I was expecting lol 😂 I'd definitely come back again. Shame I don't smoke weed anymore that would've probably tripped me out tho

Agreed that it is a magical place! I had unusual things happen there maybe the first 5 times I ever visited..... now, I haven't experienced anything there in probably 15 years and a hundred visits. No idea why it's so peaceful there all of a sudden, but it's a great place to visit regardless!

The reason the deer followed them was because people feed deer in this spot every day, they come out and follow you because they want food. I have had deer come all the way up to me for food. I live here and often feed the deer in this spot.

I live in chicago right there...my budd lives across the street...we in these woods all the time....we ve heard drums before and have witnessed some crazy things....i love going to these woods

Those bodies were actually found at Robinson South. I should make a video pointing out these two different locations. They are close, but aren't the same place. It does get misreported quite a bit though.

I went there one night with friends, unaware of the stories about the forest..Well we weren't really there doing legal things so we kind of went in there with the thought of getting caught, because of a security guard who knew we went in there and wasn't to happy with our presence, and after about a half an hour I kept seeing lights that I thought were from flash lights followed by whispering voices coming from deep within the woods. I told ppl the next day and they told me it was haunted. :O

Katelyn Tamas I know your comment is old but anyways I used to live literally a block away from there and me and my friends took a walk around the forrest around 10 at night, and yes there were orbs all over the place. I was freaked out. Orbs were literally popping in front of my face. And walking past this place at night around 2005 in the winter, I smelled a heavy scent of flowers. It's indeed haunted.

Kenneth Hansen was absolutely and without a doubt the killer. He didn't confess but he marched right up to it on more than one occasion when questioned by Area 5 detectives but stopped short each time. He was the killer and was almost smug about it.

Robinson Woods is technically in Chicago. The Village of Norridge ends at Lawrence Ave. and East River Road.

I used to walk my dog in Robinson woods and have never seen anything but have heard some noise where there was no animals in sight.

i went there with my friend at night with her uncle and her grandpa and we were recording to see if any ghosts or anything will respond and we heard something say "Die"

He forgot to mention the boys who were dumped here. I heard it had something to do with John Wayne Gacy. But back then he was only a kid. So I dunno...

The location where the bodies were discovered is about 700 yards away (just measured it on GoogleEarth) and is south of Lawrence Ave. Also, those poor boys were killed in 1955 while Gacy was active from 1972-78. Totally understandable why there's confusion as Gacy did do his killings not far from here. His house is almost exactly a mile from the Robinson Stone, to the Northeast.

Word to the wise from a great friend to the native people.. to you they are deer- and thats just fine bud, but they are known amongst the initiated as skinwalkers-think about this good now..and if by chance... if you do in fact go back -watch what a different effect they have on your nervous system and senses...

I have some real good deer pictures wqith super clear big orbs in all the pics,, some have clear ,, pac man type faces in them,, everyone that see's the pictures , see the 'faces in the orbs,,, pretty wild ,,,

Hate to tell you this but the deer follow you because people feed them ...I know I have pictures of my son at four years old feeding them they will come right to you they associate people with food especially when it it's cold out .

Yeah, there was the issue of trying to tell a long, detailed story that got cut down to two minutes - most of the story was cut. Not hearing most of the story, a lot gets lost. I spend a lot of time on this location in my book, of course mentioning the Peterson-Shuessler case and telling Alexander Robinson's story. We include an interview with one of his descendants. We also present evidence that Hansen, though he was a bad guy, was likely not the killer.
