And who told you that this movie is based on true story. There was no real couple who experienced paranormal activity. The director "thought" there was ghost in his house but he never showed any evidence, instead he turned his idea of recording himself while he sleeps into a movie. So when people say "true story" expect a little bit of exaggeration.

Well if you bother to do a little research, you can Google Paranormal Activity and you will find Wikipedia article on it. Then go through the article and you will find the details of the background of the movie, then you can also look at the Wikipedia sources (footnotes) where all the information comes from. In those footnotes are several Interview with the director of the movie who came up with the story. Then watch some of his Interview on youtube. I am pretty sure by then you will understand.

This movie SUCKED BIG TIME.NOT SCARY WHAT SO EVER.What I saw in the movie I saw it 100 times on ghosts shows that I watched.SHADOW PEOPLE WALKING,HEAR ALL TYPES OF NOISES LIKE FOOTSTEPS,TALKING,DOORS SLAMMING ECT...,THINGS LIKE BOOKS BEING SHOT AT YOU,AND YOU FING LIKE BITE MARKS,SCRATCHES ON YOUR BODY CLAIMING SOME EVIL SPIRIT DID IT.Like I said seen all before.MOVIE NOT SCARY AT ALL.I do admit that in the end of the movie was scary.I did not expect to see the guy flew in to the camera.
