what is lightening pain. what does it feel like

Lightening pain is a sharp sudden onset pain accross the body due to posterior column lesion (not like root pain in specific distribution) and also not associated with any aggravating or relieving factors. Posterior column symptoms can be 5 types 1. Band like pain 2. Deep boring paraesthesia 3. Lightning pain 4. Lhermitte sign 5. Non length dependent pattern in glove in stocking region And also stick and stamp gait(stamping gait)
