I have T11 paraplegia for 32 years. It's great you do this stretching routine. I have not done it very regularly and I can't straighten my legs out completely. I have quite a bit of tone which I think has helped keep some of the muscle mass. I take baclofen only once a day because it makes me sleepy and I need to stay alert for work.

That hit close to home.It made me look at life different. I think he inspired me to live every day and be thankful. seeing some of your videos has also inspired me I thank you 🙏 🐴

Great video thanks! Some really good ideas for morning stretches. Good to see I'm not the only one with bratty legs in the morning. Do you find that the morning stretches help with that issue? Meanwhile during the day typically not so bad.

The best way to get rid of muscle spasticity is to stretch at any time of the day or night. I got rid of the spasticity in this way and now it does not create problems for me.
@jennyi6u64 жыл бұрын
@@ddSmol thank you. I only have spasticity in the morning as I get into my chair and at night when I get into bed. It seems to be mostly triggered by these events. Otherwise it is mildly episodic. Nonetheless I should try this routine if it might help. Easy to start though as I have neglected stretching.

Not sure if you’ve done it, but a tip video on road trips would be awesome. I saw in another video where you said you spend a lot of time on the road. I’m almost there myself. Been fighting pain and weight gain from my misery...but I’ve almost got it right💪 I’m looking to find some peace of mind and be a victim of consequence traveling. Would be cool to hear from a veteran about prescriptions, the chairs, accessories you bring...skin issues, maybe a roho on the driver seat or not, transfers, etc...hope you’re well. Much love from Cali 🌴😎 100 degrees and everything’s on fire out here as usual lol
