9:00 it just made itself obvious to me how in the modern language it can be named 'gaining self-consciousness' - and from The Text we learn the animals were named before that. Other sources mention the names were given in accordance to 'The Essence' (forgive me I forgot the word). I weakly sense a connection between Adam having an 'exterior' consciousness while being obnoxious of self awareness to be the pre-sin state of human soul. Sort of sensing and knowing of whats going on around him, but not judging, and rather, reflecting (only the good). If that's how it was indeed, a question arises whether the understanding of self in the pre-sin nature could be compared to looking at what had reflected off of you. Looking at your reflections. And don't underatand me wrong, it's not about looking at yourself in the mirror naked. Its about you being the mirror that reflects, and seeing what had been reflected off of you, in everything around you. Now, take it as my 'private' thoughts, because in no means known to me I can prove, and in the case it's not right, consider it's me thinking about mirrors instead of listening to the talk. Sorry in advance! For interrupting the talk.

So, to continue the thought, when the fruit (be it singular or plural) was still hanging at the tree, it also reflected off of us. If what I had said had been the case, of course. Now we know that Chavah had seen the fruit to be 'pretty' before it was eaten and before Their eyes had opened. Given that previously discussed 'method of seeing', could have the reflections of the fruit distort the reflections of the snake? Now more than that. It had been stated by many what had happend after the fruit was eaten. Even in this lecture, you can hear about this analytical process of 'whether I should help that person, or maybe I'm too tired?' type of thing. My point is, had the fruit been already part of the world, did the world undergo a similar process to which we were unattached before we ate from the tree? It is important to know whether the fruit was plural or singular, but since I do not possess the understanding of original text, you could give me a hand with that one. Thank you and be blessed.

This is amazing. Incredible revelation of the yetzer hara @ the 43:26 minute mark where the yetzer hara takes the wheel, i had a dream years ago of sitting in a red Cadillac and i was in the passenger side and the driver was driving so fast i said, you're going to kill us. And @ the next moment he was crashing the car off of a highway bridge and somehow i grabbed hold of some kind of plank and was holding on for dear life. It felt like i was hundreds of feet up in the air. And when i looked down, there were like 10 people hanging on to me, one by one like a long chain. Somehow i shook them off, but i had no strength to pull myself up the plank to make it back to the highway. Incredible revelation of the yetzer hara.

The sin in essence is thinking we are independent of Elokim. Adam and Chavah incorrectly believed HaShem received His power from the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil. However, NOTHING is separate from HaShem. He is EVERYTHING. "Shema Yisrael HaShem Elokeinu HaShem Echad. "Echad" illustrates to us, HaShem encompasses all of existence. "Ein Od Milvado" - there is nothing but Him. Choosing actions that are separate from the will of the Kadosh Baruch Hu shows that we think ourselves to be independent of HaShem, i.e., I have my own desires. I am free to choose what I want to do. I exist independently. However, in reality, this is futile. We must understand, our very existence is because the Kadosh Baruch Hu wills it. Therefore, it is our existential duty to follow His precepts, His commands, His Torah.

Sounds good. But your post doesn't answer what the tree is. It seems like the answer is tightly guarded and hidden. Please tell me, or at least guide me in the right direction to figure it out.
@jean9h2 ай бұрын
@@MinisterRedPill Maybe the tree is a representation of something that holds in its "fruit" forbidden or unwise-to-discover knowledge? An "apple" is a very small thing compared to the whole-the tree- and it's connected to its source of life by a tiny stem....Hmmm. I wish I was 1000Xs more knowledgeable in Hebrew and Zohar!!! 😵💫

Thank you so much Rabbi Anava!🙏🙏🙏 Your ability to impart deep spiritual truths in a challenging and caring way is truly appreciated. I have one selfish request though (and my apologies in advance, I don't mean to offend) - can the comments and questions be held until the end; please and thank you? I find the regular interjections derail my flow of thought as I try to grasp these heavy subjects. I understand that every group has a different dynamic and some are more interactive than others so there is no judgment here and I understand if this is not possible. But, it never hurts to ask😁

BUT, it could be that it was not a sin, it yould be the great plan. Adam was better than the rest of creation, created according to a blueprint and with action. The tree of knowledge, = connection, = becoming intimate with Chaja made her to Chawa. Perhaps that was exactly what was needed to get from the higher world (Azilut?) to the lower world and repair it? I don't remember who this teaching is from, perhaps Baal HaSulam?

The key is they never said sorry for the sin they chose sin and evil like the rabbi said they chose that's why they have to do sin sacrifice it's all about who you listen to only the creator interesting don't you think that eve said she has a man from the Lord so her lord is the devil bug in the world very simple he said evil seed and woman seed Adam was punished for listening to eve and not the creator and things created problem in the world to this day nobody believes what the creator says hope and pray for the only creator to come soon in are time
