In this weeks Parasha we read about the sacrifices that were given on the altar and all the rules that have to do with those commandments. Since we still don't have the holy temple and can not offer sacrifices, what is the sacrifice we have to give in our generation?

Rabbi, as an ex- churchian....the word " sacrifice" makes me shudder. Especially since my Rav taught me that korbano always means offering....

Thank you Rabbi Alon! Excellent Shiur! Interesting that the Rabbi mentions at 1:02:49, that his has fish. Fish in an aquarium or a pond? If that is so, then it relates significantly to the Rabbi's soul; the Rabbi's soul has a special connection with H"B. How does the fish relate to H"B? According to what I heard, the fish have no [need for] eyelids and the eyes are uncovered. So it reminds us on how H"B remains watchful of us. Thought I would share.
