I watched this movie yesterday. Two things shocked me. The movie itself and the fact that a theatre screen with capacity of 250+ people only had 9 people in attendance (including me) . And yes. I counted. Just 9. If you're reading this comment. Don't miss this gem. Watching this movie on a big screen is a whole different experience.

I went for Parasite and there was AAYUSHMAN KHURANA in the same show! He was so damn cool and down to Earth. And No1 bothered him for a pic or which was the best part! (I had already seen Parasite, but i am so glad i went for it again. Also bcoz they need to increase the no of shows of such amazing movies, so all support for quality cinema)

If you Arjun Reddy/Kabir Singh fans still don't get it, just ignore Sucharita, okay? Get over it already. Shahid Kapoor's acting was fantastic, the music was fantastic. If only Kabir had his "thing" accidentally chopped off at the end of the movie, it would have gained more nominations at Film Fair. Perhaps win an oscar too, who knows!!

I'm happy you guys in India get to enjoy this truly wonderful film in theaters as well. 🥳 This is one of my favorite films from 2019, along with Capernaum, The Wild Pear Tree, Queen of Hearts, So Long My Son, Yuli, The Farewell, And Then We Danced, I Lost My Body, The Specials, Sorry We Missed You, Official Secrets, and The Report. 🏆 From director Bong Joon Ho I've seen Okja and Snowpiercer, and I can't wait to watch Memories of Murder and The Host. 🤩 Other favorite Korean films of mine include: Bin-Jip and Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter... and Spring (both from director Ki-duk Kim), Burning, My Sassy Girl, A Tale of Two Sisters, So-won (Hope), and even though I don't like to rewatch it: Oldboy. Parasite is a revelation; every scene crafted to perfection with the film highlighting the glaring class differences that exist in the world. It makes you re-think your priorities in life because the people portrayed as downtrodden in the movie weren't always like that. I agree with your review except one point, you gave wrong definition of parasite, the motive of directer to named this movie parasite is different, Kim Ki-taek family is considered as a parasite in this movie. because Parasites are plants or animals that live on or in other host organism, and they get their nutrients and benefits from that host, and kim family does the same thing in parasite movie.

I saw this film a few days post release in Korea. I'm a big fan of Choi wo shik for over 4 yrs. A brilliant master piece once again from Korean cinematic universe. I wish people start watching more Korean movies
