What’s your experience with Demodex mites and eye inflammation? Did you know they were connected?

@jenfugo I suffered with blurry vision and discomfort . My eye doctor said I had collarettes and to use tea tree foam 2x/day. I was getting styes under my lids and suspected Dry Eye Disease so I went to a DED specialist. It's all connected. The best thing I used to get the demodex under control was a Rx Xdemvy. But I still have to deal with DED daily.

Like that eye docs look for this. Derm doctors are less interested or think it is a sign of psychiatric problem.

Stop this exaggeration to make people nervous about these symptoms . These mites are so minute that they can hardly be seen under a microscope . Many of these mites ( that most people have ) could fit on end of Pin .It’s not helpful .

Not an exaggeration if you have suffered an overgrowth. A normal amount is no problem but it can affect your eyesight and make life miserable.

Xdemvy is the Rx medicine that the doctor mentioned.. one drop for 6 weeks. It worked for me!

@@annapugh9262 the issue here is overgrowth of these mites... No one is claiming that everyone has this. But if you have overgrowth, it can be a problem

It gets bad, I’ve been suffering from dry eye, blepharitis, my lashes falling, the water lines red and puffy, and the most annoying thing, a very intense itch half the day, when I say I mean extraordinarily intense

@@cubanadiense I think I read that missing eyelashes is caused by the demodex mites.
