This one really flies around & just when you think the ride's ending, it goes backwards!

Interesting...this is the first time I have seen a Paratrooper go backwards. I have seen MANY of them too in parks and fairs and never have I seen one go backwards before.

I’ve been quite a few paratroopers and this one is the fastest I’ve ever seen. The cars normally don’t swing like that. I can’t believe it goes backward too...

Much sickness than I'm willing to go on Enterprise, this is over 5 mins, plus riders just get the foot choppers there! Just wondering how fast these spins are! ;-)

I’ve ridden a paratrooper ride twice and the first time it wasn’t scary but the second time was just like this but it didn’t go backwards

I never knew a Paratrooper was able to go backwards! I wonder why carnivals don't run it backwards? The reason i ask, is, i've never seen one run backwards at a carnival before, just forwards.

I went on that one I was scared and high, I was spinning really fast with my mom and she felt sick after riding TWO fast spinning rides! Omg I loved it so much, but I realized it went fast so I NEVER went on it again! She was laughing her arse off on the fast and high ride omg paratooper omg so fast!

This ride made my son and I incredibly nauseous. We went on many other rides but this ride going backwards killed it for us. We rode the Riptide (a backwards and forwards ride) and we loved it. This one was too much.

The chances of it making you both nauseous are pretty slim, unless you both ate something bad. I think your son was trying to make you feel better about an easy ride.

Every Summer I go to the yearly carnival in my Hometown and there's a ride called this Star Trooper. It's like the Paratrooper ride but faster and goes forward for 1 and 30 seconds then back words for 1 and 30 seconds. Plus the seats can hold up to four people, and every year someone pukes on the ride

This Paratrooper ride is faster than the one I went on! The one I rode was at a Carnival in Ohio and J&J Amusements was the ride provider, J&J Amusements sucks! Their rides are slow and are always breaking down!

Went on this 2 days ago. Awesome, but don't eat before this! It's so long, I actually felt like Puking at one point. Getting off is the biggest relief but you feel SO dizzy. DO NOT recommend for people who can't go on high spinny rides. This ones FAST.

Paratrooper's manufactured Speed is 13 RPM/Minute. This is pretty fast! Most fairs reduce that speed though. This place didnt!

This looks really funny but I agree with the other comments, after about a minute of going forward that fast Id be done already. If they went forward for a couple minutes or even a minute then backwards for just a minute, i think id be set.
