Oh Andre 🤩 This video almost made me weep like a teenage girl! Flew Annecy for three weeks in 2003, just a year before moving permanently to Southern Japan 🇬🇧💖🇯🇵

Great flight Andre. I’ve been to Algodonales and Bassano this year and Annecy is on my hit list hopefully for later this year.

would highly recommend it. Quite funny seeing what paragliding is like when it runs a fair chunk of the local economy. Never seen a place like it, with around 1 person taking off every 10 seconds, over and over for hours.

What paraglider are you using? I'm interested in the bgd epic next.. After if progress from my Adam. I'm interested in some acro and cross country
@AndreBandarra14 жыл бұрын
Here I was using the BGD Base. The Epic is quite nice and works well for xc. Also in general it's said that low EN-Bs are quite nice to get into acro

It's a pretty location - but loads of trees !!! Were you there long ? How many flights did you manage ?
@AndreBandarra14 жыл бұрын
Was there for just under a week but only managed a couple recreational flights. We were there for an SIV clinic and some of the days we just had bad weather kzbin.info/www/bejne/oKaXqGywocdqp9U

lovely! brings back memories of paragliding heaven ;-) Where do you position your rode mic? The audio is crystal clear on this one.
@AndreBandarra16 жыл бұрын
Greg Hamerton thanks :) I don't use the osmo sound in the air as it's too unrealisable and bulky. I use a cheap lav mic connected to a phone and a free app to record sound. I put the mic under my outermost jacket to prevent it from getting loads of wind noise. Still not fully happy with it as the jacket usually muffles the sound a bit but it's the best I've found so far. 3:55 on here kzbin.info/www/bejne/nqPFhpaanL99qqM
@greghamerton44226 жыл бұрын
Andre Bandarra that's a real time eater in the edit then, synching sound... yeah lav mic does get muffled but to be honest I didn't notice on the first listen. You can put rode mic in your jacket too, I've got clear results with that.
@AndreBandarra16 жыл бұрын
Greg Hamerton yeah I always prefer to work with in camera sound for speed but it's not that bad with premiere's auto sync feature. In my case I don't really trust the osmo even with the rode mic connected and the connection isn't sturdy and even if it pulls out a little bit all your sound is gone (ask me how I know).
@greghamerton44226 жыл бұрын
cool, you using Premiere CC? I'm still on CS5 so there's no autosync, AFAIK
@AndreBandarra16 жыл бұрын
yes I've been using creative cloud for about 5-6 years now. A shame there is no option on cs5. On a long video like this it would take way longer to edit if you had to sync all the clips up manually
