I watched the entire video without a break. Actually that isn't quite true, I needed to open a new box of tissues. I cried for Faith and her memory gifts. I had a little cry for Spaghetti trotting happily alongside Rosco and again when I see Chance's big grin. Then the tears fountain really turned on when I saw our newest dock diver Miss V who probably can't see the middle of the pool fearlessly launch herself into the unknown. Miss V is a courageous doggie but of course she can only be brave because the Evans' family gives her unconditional love and they all accept her for who she is.

I just watched this for the third time and the unwrapping of Faith’s picture brought tears to my eyes again. Who would believe a 71 year old man from Manitoba crying over a dog I’ve never met being cared for by a family I’ll never meet, but I loved her and all the dogs as well as you and your family. Thank you for sharing this life you live with us even the sad bits. Being positive in comments to help you helps me too! Hi Sam and Luke, like you Luke I'm an ex Serviceman and suffer PTSD (so many of us do), the Farm brings sanity and a calmness into my life. My mind lost the plot when you showed that beautiful painting of the adorable Faith. Hope is doing so well it is truly a credit to you both for you fairh and skills and the wonderful loving pack. Miss Violet is a good example of what you can do if you put your mind to it, she has become a very confident swimmer and just enjoys each day and challenge as it comes.

i love it when Hope comes up to Sam for affection. Lots more now. She looks the happiest she's been in days. Burst out crying when I saw Faith's portrait, and completely lost it when Sam cried. She was a beautiful soul in a broken body, the sweetest face and had those expressive soulful eyes. Rest in peace Faith. You are missed by many. You're very talented Ailsa. Dogs are not beneath us in any way at all, of the ways that really matter in life and spirit. I have many plans, including to open shelters ( most likely in 2025) involving healing space technologies and replicators to supply healthy food. More humans need to step up to the plate and be responsible and deserving of such loving playful in-the - moment beings.

We don't care how short or long the videos are we are just happy to see them. Crazy driving with Evie, Wolfie, Dad and the pack. LOL Love it when Miss Violet runs in circles barking Let's go, what's next everyone. The look on Wolfie's face when he sees the tractor, priceless. Luke is so great with all of Evie's questions. What a great dad to the 2 legged and 4 legged babies in the family. Miss Red typical sister hold your little sister Miss Violet down in the water. Hope knows Auntie Sam will give her all the cuddles and reassurance she needs. Watching Bandit and Tilly in the playhouse was so heart warming. It's great when Luke explains the training and Sam asks the questions to make sure we understand each step. Miss Violet wasn't me but Helen did mention me Mum so I should get extra jerky. My hubby and I are the opposite I have the sweet tooth and he doesn't. Bandit has a new toy the caterpillar he might like it as much as his piggy. Hope finally got the chicken toy. Ailsa that painting of Faith was awesome. You truly captured her. Beverly is so right the estate belongs to Master Bandit. Loved that. Nevaeh now gets out of the pool the Roscoe way. LOL Philip what a great box you are so thoughtful and kind. Love Lily's blanket it was beautiful. Bandit made out like a bandit. Sorry had to throw in a Dad joke. LOL No one jumps further then Nevaeh what an athlete. Miss Violet is a true Warrior Princess, she is fearless. I hold my breath with Sam when Miss Violet rushes forward to try what we might think is impossible for a little mostly blind and deaf pup. But nothing stops her zest for life.

FYI for fellow subscribers. Dee at CCACF announced yesterday that Jackson has been adopted. He’s an only “child” with 4 healthy adults to keep him happily active and loved. (2 young men in their early 20’s & their parents). He is adapting very well and becoming his old good boy self. 😊. Hooray for Jackson!!🎉

I guess no one said life was fair. You captured her sweetness so profoundly. We all miss her. She also reminds me of my dog who passed. He was diagnosed with cancer and passed 14 days later. I’m glad they have a beautiful painting to remember all the good times. Ailsa you are extremely talented! Well done!

What a spot on portrait! You know the artist captured her spirit when the sight of it makes you fight back tears. My goodness, THOSE EYES ! She was such a good dog. It was certainly a horrible life she had before you found and saved her but imagine if you'd never come to her rescue. She would have most likely still become ill and she never would have recieved to love and gentleness you all provided. It was meant to be that you comforted her when she needed it most. You're on to something as far as capturing the dog in a way so many of us are used to seeing them throughout their lives. It invokes images of my dogs how they would stand up next to me while I lay in bed or how I would often catch them staring at me and wonder , are they admiring me or do they want my toast. :) Anyway, you are more than talented. You've found a way to capture the dogs spirit in a way that even a person who never saw them while living gets a sense of the animals true character. That's pretty amazing. When my neighbors get new dogs I paint their portrait with Sharpies on a Tupperware container and fill it with treats. So , I can appreciate your efforts and what you have accomplished. It’s a pack of pretty large size dogs so I love seeing cutie pie,spaghetti, Billie and Minnie and of course the Staffy twins running around in between and joining in everything so relaxed and happy 🐶

My dog, Daisy, ( a poodle/x /terrier/xx ) who I rescued in Budapest, Hungary. Had the following toys: A chicken , aka Daisy the Chicken Killer, a mobile phone (called all my family OS), a small yellow Rhinoceros, Called: Rhino. A small green rubbery crocodile: croca, and many more. Can't even remember now, ... but I could call out a toy and she would go find and pick the exact toy throughout the house. I also have MANY paintings of her throughout my house in Katoomba - 5 minimum, and a prof photo shoot!! She became Princess Daisy, and was prominent figure in Budapest, Hungary. Born and raised in Budapest, Lived in Warsaw, holidayed in Provence, Amsterdam, Croatia. Lived again again in Budapest, and finally I brought her home to Sydney, then my Mum & Dad's farm in Sth Highlands NSW, then back to Katoomba. Laid to rest here in Katoomba, a happy, well travelled 18 year old super star.

We have some amazing members/subscribers on this community..... 56:14 when you see it like that auntie Sam, I believe, those are small messages from her letting you know she is good..... I believe all dogs go to heaven, and there are times when they will communicate small messages of love to those they left..... After I lost my son back in 06, thats when I started experiencing that... Hummingbirds were one of the messages he would send to me.... I know can sound strange but I think that's her telling you, she loves you but she's good.... The portrait of Faith is beautiful and made me cry with you Sam... Still does just thinking about it.... And then mighty mighty Miss Violet and her swimming and then off the dock lmao! She's so dang awesome!!!

Dogs do not live long enough. Dog parents have their hearts broken over and over. I often wonder how any of them cope and recover from these huge losses. I just couldn't put myself through that. Thankfully for all the dogs in Shelters, many are prepared to.
