I was too crying and thinking of when we were taking my Mom and Dad, not knowing it would be their last time to do it together. They had two days, one at Epcot, one at Animal kingdom, and we popped over to Hollywood Studios.such fun memories made. Dad had introduced me to Disney when just a toddler.

My guess is his blindness was caused by macular degeneration. Eye Dr should have given your mom a grid to look at every morning. If the lines look wavy or distorted it’s important to call eye dr immediately. This is serious sign that can lead to blindness but there are treatments injecting the eye that may work if it’s caught early . My Dad blew off the card and did not catch the worsening in time. The eye vitamin AREDS2 may also be recommended

This was definitely one of my favorite videos. Your dad was so cute and I love to see that he can still enjoy the parks even though his sight is limited. My brother became legally blind in his 30's and before he passed he was always talking about wanting to go back to Disney and everyone would ask him why when he couldn't see much. This just proves that Disney can be fun for EVERYONE!!! Thank you for sharing!

Tim I am just like so many that have commented. I was so touched by seeing your dad with yall at the parks. I know he enjoyed it a lot. It reminds me of my dad and mom that I never got to be with at a Disney park. They went with my brother and sister a couple of times, but myself and my family did not get to be with them at Disney. Honestly, Tim and Jenn….this was a surprising and great video addition. As a local AP, I’m very familiar with the parks. In fact, I was there today 😊. But this video, showing opportunities that are to those with disabilities was great. Disabilities such as blindness or hearing don’t get discussed often, and it was nice to see how they experience the parks. Also, to learn what to consider if making similar plans for a loved one. ❤

I wasn't sure i could watch this. I lost my dad in August he too was legally blind. He and mom took us on many trips to Disney and we have so many good family memories from those trips. One of those memories was laughing as we watched a little boy on his belly neck deep "swimming" in a rain puddle. Seeing Jackson splashing through that puddle brought that memory back.❤ I know not everyone has good dads, but if you do, and he's still with you, CHERISH EVERY MOMENT! Take the time to make these memories with him and your mom, no matter what it costs. They really are gone before you know it.
