The wheels of the chariots used in the Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri are made from logs of specified trees. These trees include Dhaura, Pia sal, Asan, Phasi Bandhan, and Kasi. The hereditary carpenters attached to the temple, who specialize in making chariots, ensure that the wood is approved and suitable for constructing these massive wooden wheels. Interestingly, not a single nail is used in the construction of Lord Jagannath’s chariot, emphasizing the traditional craftsmanship and reverence associated with this ancient festival.

Today was my chsl exam. And i was so happy attending GS question and could remember Richa mam's tricks while answering them.
