I think both of you are great parents. And the kids are so fun and respectful. I can remember with my 3, the first one I watch out for everything a real helicopter mom, the second one more of a kite mom by the third one it would be like the baby is crying and I would say I will get her in a second. Lol Lacey is a Mommy's girl she voted for Shelly almost every time. So sweet. ❤❤

Yes I believe that parents mellow over time. My much younger siblings were able to get away with lots of things the older ones couldn't but in the end, it didn't really matter.
