Preach 😂😂😂! I was not allowed to date or/ taught how to date in my teens or 20s (even tho I was dating lowkey lol). As soon as I turned 30, my parents are asking me, where is my husband where are my children ?!?! 😂 Like how am I even supposed to go about that without proper training or advice about men and dating. Like you said, they’ve skipped sooooo many stages. While white people allow their teens to date when they turn 16/17…. But of course, they have to introduce their boyfriend/girlfriends to the family. & by the time they’re in their mid 20s-early 30s, they are married & have children. Our African parents need to unlearn/alter/learn new ways of teaching their African children when it comes to relationships, sex, dating,marriage.
