As liitle kids, I and my younger grew up in this crowded compound with two families with a deaf guy in each of them. The younger deaf guy was our age, so we related much with him, to extent we spoke his crude sign language with him-- and, at a point-- only that sign language between us both, safe when talking to others. People concluded that we were going deaf or dumb. Hearing Trevor mimic em that much, is really personally touching. Thought I was the best in the world for doing that before now.

As a disabled person & parent of an AUTISTIC daughter & a deaf adult son, (I'm hemiplegic and in a wheelchair) I totally agree with the deaf athlete story Trevor tells in this video. I find jokes about my disability hilarious and my disabled kids do too.

One of the best autobiographies I’ve ever read was Trevor’s “Born a crime”, but when I got it on Audible, with him reading it himself it was better still! What an amazing man; overcoming adversity and becoming an inspiration. Come to the UK, I would buy tickets for everyone, family and friends. Comedian? No, that’s just who he is, and how he sees the world. He is so real. Life is weird!
