Beveres, you have no idea how have you blessed me and my spiritual growth as a Christian! I am forever thankful for your family legacy. These conversations make me want to push forward as a parent. It made me tear up to see Asher praying, hoping one day my son (who is 6yrs old) will grow up pursuing the Lord with all his heart. Thank you so much!

I am absolutely blown away by Asher’s wisdom and maturity at his age. Well done, parents! I think about when I was 13, I’m 25 now, and there’s no way I would’ve been able to articulate in the way that he does or have the same language. He’s so aware, full of wisdom, and mature. It’s evident how you guys are doing parenting well through the wisdom and guidance of the Holy Spirit. Very inspiring and encouraging for when I have children and raise them. 🥹🤍

I had a moment where Asher spoke and I broke down, it tugged at the wound of not having parents like this but so thankful that I could bring that to God, and ask him to heal that part of me that is still wounded and to ask for the strength and faith to walk as a new person in Christ. This was a powerful episode, thank you for sharing, you're wonderful Godly parents. Feeling hopeful that I can be that to my children through the Holy Spirit.

From a mom of four, with two teens, girl 15, boy 14, the part where Julianna speaks on mourning the season and letting go, so your son can grow in his manhood and calling, was an exceptional point. Us moms need to mourn all seasons of childhood so we can embrace the next amazing seasons in full. Its so interesting that so many moms in our culture need permission to do this or simply don't know what a gift grief is in the parenting process. The Lord blessed me with this episode. Thanks Asher and fam!!

I'm not married, nor do I have kids but this was soo insightful❤️ It's so beautiful to see the legacy that John and Lisa have built live on through their children, through Addison and Julianna's home and it's beautifully visible through Asher...Only 13 but I'm blown away at his wisdom and spiritual strength🤯 Keep up the good work Mama and Papa👏🏾 This was such a blessing to listen to, it made me think of my own journey upon entering adulthood and the safe, godly space I want to eventually raise my children in❤

Thank you for inviting Asher to join in this episode I loved how he shared his thoughts so candidly about the transition from boy to young man and the process that he is in with its challenges and fears of the uncertainties and unknown. I was deeply moved by Asher's comment about the need for kids to be loved and their need for attention. Thank you Asher! Tender and moving episode!😍

Thank you for sharing the 'mums process' in the rites of passage / transition to manhood. When my husband and son did a similar process inspired by Jon Tyson and the Wild At Heart crew... I struggled because there just didn't seem to be much of a voice or acknowledgement of the mum's in the process. I'm so grateful to hear I wasn't alone in the grief process ❤

So so good. I'd love to hear Asher share more about the nuance of how he is spoken to/with now "in a more adult way" versus before. I was also left wondering what were those things he was sad to leave behind. Thank you for doing this. My boy is 5 and these past months that God has lead me to you, the Bevere family, I have found much support. I feel grounded knowing that motherhood is something I get to journey coming to each of you-- through these videos-- as support. Thank you for sharing from your overflow ❤

Could you guys explain, why Girls would start the Transition to womanhood with 12y and boys the transition to manhood first with 13y? As a gynecologist, I know that, biologically speaking, girls get into puberty earlier. As a mother of 4 (2-12y) I would like to know if there is a spiritual component for this threshold talked about in here? Thanks a lot for these inspiring conversation with Asher. It teaches me a lot on how to respectfully talk to and value the voice/opinions of our children. Greetings from Switzerland!

I can so relate with the crying when realising that my son is not a boy anymore! It was a precious moment. On his 12th birthday, we've made a card to announce that he can sit in the front seat, took pictures, he had his cake: it was a big deal. At the time some of his friends were already siting in front seat (illegally!) so it was a thing for us to keep our standards and communicate to our son that there is a time for everything, and we want to do things the best way possible. To navigate the transition has been beautiful, scary (because of the unknown) and at the same time painful (to let go of my sweet little boy). In the process, we All need so much grace to go through the changes, Dad; Mom and child, everyone.. So great that we have our heavenly Father that is right by our side to guide us in this, we would not be able to do it without Him. Our son is 16 now, and we are daily learning how to give space and still claim him. lots and lots of prayers, and show of love. So grateful to God that we still have his heart and he has ours. THANK YOU guys so much for this episode, and may God continue to bless your family as you continue grow together and share God's love with the world.

Thank you ALL for this powerful conversation. I remember as every time my daughters changed schools from primary into secondary, then into Polytechnic, I asked them to give me some time to adjust myself. This gives them space to adjust as well, n know it's a time for change on both sides. For me to learn to let go a little each time of my hold on "my little girl" as she grows. To recognise that she indeed is older so we can both can step into this new stage with respect n honour together. Adjust our expectations like staying up later n going out more independently with friends, but to always inform me when n where they are too. I thank God for the blessings of my girls every day. Thank you again The Beveres

😭😭😭😭 I don't know how you guys were able to keep your tears away. I am blown away by his answers. Gives such a great glimpse into a teenager's life. Wow. As a mom of 4 littles I am amazed. Well done parents, uncle's, grandparents!👏👏👏👏
