Of the LILLEbaby Complete range I would say the LILLEbaby Airflow DLX is the most comparable carrier to the Ergobaby Omni Breeze in terms of the lightness and breathability. I think both of these carriers are great options for summer, weather climates or active parents.

In fact they have more in common than differences, because they are the same basic style of soft structured carrier. They even go on exactly the same way. If you know how to put on an Ergobaby Omni, you know how to put on a LILLEbaby.

I would say the biggest reason to choose a LILLEbaby is value for money. Ergobaby are currently the market leading carriers in Australia - however the LILLEbaby Airflow DLX ticks the same boxes for around two thirds the price.
Why Choose an Ergobaby Omni Breeze?
However, in my opinion the Ergobaby Omni offers the most ergonomic and optimal forward facing carry position of any other baby carrier. And it is much easier to adjust from newborn to toddler.

Ok, you've convinced me they're both good and pretty similar, but you mentioned cost at the end so I looked it up. I had no idea the Ergobaby costs so much more! 🤯 Any idea why? I'm guessing Ergobaby has been a company with a good reputation for a longer time, but are there any other differences in materials, durability, features, or anything you can think of other than the brand name?

I would say brand would be a factor. In terms of overall quality, durability etc I would say there's not a significant difference. They're both well made and solid, I can't imagine having any issues with either them in terms of fabric and stitching quality. There is a subtly more polished feel to the Ergobaby, like I think you can tell it's the more premium option, but it's not a big "WOW that one is SO much better" And I do also think price would be influenced by the innovation, design and structure has gone into achieving the forward facing positioning on the Ergobaby Omni Breeze. Whereas LILLEbaby haven't really done anything extra to the structure of the carrier for forward facing. It's just possible because of the way the carrier cinches in at the front for a newborn. So I feel like that to me would be the deciding factor if I was choosing between the two of them. And there's also no wrong choices! They're both great carriers. I hope that helps at all!

Which LILLEbaby 6in1 carrier are you looking at? The "Complete" range including the Original, Airflow, Airflow DLX (in this video) and All Seasons as well as the "Elevate" are the 6in1 style carriers. Happy to do a comparison to the Omni Breeze with any of them.
