Story Summary :-
The story revolves around a 25-year-old man and his brother. His brother
has always been the golden child of the family and has been spoiled rotten by his parents. His favorite pastime was to trouble OP and steal his belongings. At first, it was just his toys and candies but with age, it escalated into bicycles, electronics, and even girls. Recently, OP's joy at his fiancées pregnancy was shattered when a friend saw her and his brother leaving a hotel together. Suspicious, OP noticed strange behavior between them and demanded a DNA test, revealing his brother was the father. Furious, OP called off the wedding, broke up with his fiancée, and confronted his brother, leading to a physical fight. To OP's shock, their parents sided with his brother, blaming OP for not controlling his fiancée. OP rebuked them, packed his bags, and left.
On vacation, OP found a great job and relocated permanently. Four years later, his parents begged him to return, revealing his brother had tricked them into signing over the house and then threw them out. OP confronted his brother, who refused to take them back but agreed to give them some money. However, they discovered his wife had taken all their money and disappeared, leaving him with their baby. Furious, the brother called the police but threw OP and their parents out.
OP refused to take his parents in, and they ended up in a public old age home. Days later, his brother called, saying his wife sold the house, and he was homeless. OP offered to help the baby get into foster care on the condition his brother never contacted him again. In the end, the baby was taken into foster care, the brother ended up on the streets, and the parents suffered in the old age home. OP started a new life, free from his family's toxic influence.

I just listened to a similar story on r/girl. The younger brother cheated with the older brother's fiance. The younger brother and girl got engaged. His entire family turned their backs on the couple. They refused to go to the wedding, refused to have anything to do with them, and Grandpa even cut his grandson out of the will and gave the younger brother's inheritance to the older brother. This is how a family comes together when a person does such a heinous act against their sibling or other family member.

Ha, maybe he should be thanking the brother after all. The brother really threw himself on a grenade.

I so enjoy your narrative. Well read Mr R. Brother needs to press charges against his wife for forgery. If the house was in both their names she couldn’t have sold it without permission and a signature.

No other mention of the *older* *brother* who emigrated to 🇬🇧, other than he exists. I am guessing that brother saw how it was while he was growing up, that he was probably ignored as well, and just worked through it determined to flee that hell hole of a family once he had the opportunity to do so. OP was so entrapped by his own circumstances as he grew up he never noticed his older brother had been treated the same way. It doesn't sound like there was a bond between the older brother and the younger ones, probably an age gap of 10 years or more maybe, with the younger two closer together (maybe 18 months?). OP should locate and reach out to the older brother; I bet he has a lot of tales to tell, tales of how he became forever invisible, emotionally abandoned by his parents as a tween when the two babies came along. By the time he noticed the favoritism for the youngest he was just too detatched to actually care anymore. Anyway I am guessing OP has no idea he and the oldest brother share much more than they know. They may never be family again, sometimes it's just not possible to re-weave torn family bonds, and if they never really existed in the first placer as I suspect between the older brother and the two little ones, then at least the two men might become acquaintances at least. Over time acquaintances can become friends, and maybe in the future the friends might become brothers again.🤼‍♂ It's a long shot but worth a try particularly as their story ended the same way. They both got out of a very toxic situation, got away, and became successful in their own right and through their own efforts. They have so much in common but don't know till they reconnect.

I call bull crap. If the house was in BOTH their names, it’s ILLEGAL to sell it without BOTH of their signatures. Good story but totally fake.

That's the start of knowing it's obviously a fake story. She couldn't sell it if it was in both their names. No real estate agent is going to put themselves in any kinda predicament like that. Then the parents having to go to a rundown nursing home, the baby going into the foster system, and the hated brother being homeless. Maybe based off of real events, but sounds like a revenge wet dream. I believe this story is about as real as Santa Claus.

@@jsdaddy71009now you know why - the parents were 5h1t. The eldest got away from the toxic parents. This thing (picking favorite children) was something that wasn't as tolerable in parents 30 years ago. Now, with helicopter parenting, millenial "parenting" (teaching kids that their feelings are more important than morals, facts and reality, and teaching solipsism to kids and telling them they're "special"), and generalized selfishness taugh to kids has collectively ruined generations. This is why the psychological community now states that 1 in about 5 people in america is a fukking Narcissist of some type. I've found this estimation to indeed be true.

Sounds like she is being sneaky, why would you want to marry someone you don't trust? Me and my husband have been together for 22 years, I trust him with my life. If someone told me they seen him doing something bad, I wouldn't believe them. I know I can count on him.
