So your parents want you to forgive your cheating sister because she is the golden child? Are your parents also cheaters or just immoral in general! You don’t have to forgive your cheating sister and your cheating ex! Stay away from those toxic AHs parents included! Cheaters all have the same excuses!Move on OP !

Who ever has the right to demand that you forgive someone who has betrayed you like that? The audacity of that makes my blood pressure go up. Both of my parents would get a huge middle finger if I was the OP.

All these people in these stories answering their phones against their better judgment from numbers they don’t recognize meanwhile I’m over here like if it’s important they can leave a voicemail….

Cheaters support Cheaters. What failures as parents. I'M so sick and tired of the hypocrisy of family members demanding "to be the bigger person" BS.

Seems to be a common theme. Wonder what the story would read like if the golden child had HER fiance stolen by her unnoticed sister? Would the parents be so sanguine?

Best advice my Mom ever gave me: "Forgive people- from a safe distance." Forgive if you can, let it go if you can- but don't let those people back into your life to hurt you again.

What kind of parents are these people? Heartless!

If she'll steal her own sister's man then she'll do it to anyone. The latest cousin to marry doesn't want to share OP's fate. As people process what she did, Amy will find herself bereft of female companionship because trust is a bedrock of female friendships. Her habit of burning her way through her latest beaus bank accounts will get harder to maintain as her body count grows and she'll earn herself an unsavoury reputation. Meanwhile, Op's parents are set to be disappointed when the time comes that they need elder care from their offspring. They'll find that forcing their sensible child out of their lives overseas, and constantly enabling the selfish one will leave them high and dry when they need support most. It's unlikely now that they will ever meet their grandchildren, since Amy's too self-centered to maintain custody of any kids she births, and OPs will be too far away.

What part of "Anyone who will cheat WITH you, will cheat ON you" can't people figure out?
@lueezannupahnui14 күн бұрын
Why block their numbers? Why not get a new number? Especially as the can use different numbers to still contact you. But if they don't know you're new number they can't contact you. Also why answer their calls. Even if it was an unknown number as soon as they start speaking & you realise who it is...just hang up. If you truly want to cut ties then do so. Don't hear them out etc...

She did it

@@tigermagda No she didn't. She answered and let them talk. Never at any point did she hang up until they got their yap burger out. To me, it seems she loves torturing herself.

Do you realize what a pain changing your phone number is??? I had to contact doctors, dentists, boss, colleagues, co-workers, friends, relatives, drug stores, ad nauseum. With my new number I get TONS of calls and texts for the previous number owner from Bill collectors. No. I wish I had just blocked my ex and his friends and relatives.

If I were OP I'd have told the sister, "He cheated on me with you, so don't be surprised when he eventually cheats on you with some one else. And when he does don't come crying to me as I'll only tell you I told you so." And I'd also go NC with Amy and the parents.

The thing I always think of when I hear these type of stories: Don’t these parents teach their kids about self respect and loyalty? How much self respect would she have if she forgave her sister and got back with her ex, because it’s “good for family”? Idk if it’s because of my cynicism, but I’d have no problem imploding the family image if this happened to me. 😂

When will OP learn that all 3 are toxic? Parents AND sister? And gargle online to find out how BLOCK them? LOL After you are 18, you are at fault if you allow famileeee to bully you

OP should find a nice partner, get married, some babies. Forget the birth family that wronged her so much!

I would have believed this story more, if they didn't try to say the wedding had 400 people.
@shells500tutubo10 күн бұрын
Well, it sounds like Op and ex are both from Seattle and both have big families, and Op has the kind of job where inviting work colleagues is somewhat of a requirement. It is very possible that they invited 400 people as regular Americans (meaning not a traditional Indian wedding, where 400 guests would be on the small side, lol).

Oh sweetie, I’d be making lots of gardening comments. I thought I might see you here today, and I see you brought yourself a new hoe! This one looks a bit expensive but will break down asap as reasons to drive up her price. I’d thought you didn’t like gardening though. I hope you didn’t expect it to look brand new. If you look carefully, this hoe is all rusty now. Looks like it’s community property. Ten owners in just the last 4 months, wow! Didn’t know you like to share so much with do many! That hoe failed college classes, but everyone knows that. It wS so funny! Last year,!hoe went around telling everyone she was like a Madonna song. Most people, like our parents, just burst out laughing every time she left a room. But then some biology student explained the definition of that like a Madonna song. She doesn’t say it anymore, well, not to any guys who know you at least. It’s better than her last song. No, it’s not “she works hard for the money.” She changed it to “I work hard for my money, and pay me lots to get with me honey!”

I actually have a ton more respect for a s*x worker than a toxic POS like the sister in this story.
