Some of the most self absorbed people I’ve ever worked with were doctors. Not every doctor, but I’d say the majority. My opinion is from work experience, retired. We would joke that physicians thought MD stood for ‘medical deity.’

How sad that these "kids" seemed so ungrateful for their parents' help. I'm sure the show wants this drama, but no, thank you. I wouldn't dare speak to my parents like this. Very sad.

That entertainment district condo would have been a good investment... likely worth a million bucks now

Plus he liked it the best and didn't have anything that needed to be fixed before he could functionally use it.

If you are past age 21, you need to Grow Up and make your own way instead of looking for help from your parents, that is what being responsible Adult is about. I was age 19 when I became the head of household taking care of my aging parents and have been doing for over 31 years. This man is just plain a Brat and the mother is enabling him.

Thank god our ancestors didn’t have that mindset

Why would he agree to be on camera? His situation is kind of embarrassing.

Needing money from parents is one thing, but my parents would NEVER be so controlling, and I would never be so controlling if my kid needed money. Why should the mom's dislike of concrete floors be relevant at all? Their only input should be about price, and to give guidance, NOT anything to do with personal preferences. What a strange concept for a show. Little sister of the second dude needs her own show though! She's the only one in that family with any sense.

The first parents are somehow super charming and super annoying at the same time. The first apartment was stunning.

I'm 68 years old. The most expensive house I ever bought was a $185,000 fixer upper five years ago. I worked like a dog my whole life and earned every penny. It's paid off and now worth $350K. He "outgrew" his present condo, and wanted a new, larger one financed by the bank of mom and dad. Wonder if he's going to support them in their old ago, since they're giving him their retirement investment money now.

On show #1 ---- the first property was AMAZING! That patio alone was worth every penny of the asking price and the design was spectacular. It's sad that the parents had to take out a 2nd mortgage to pay the downpayment for their son's new place. I hope he appreciates what they've done for him. On show #2 --- the guy needs to grow up and take on some responsibility and work a "side hustle" as he's trying to get "discovered" in entertainment. He came across as being lazy and entitled. I hope he gains some wisdom and starts to produce some income for his future. I couldn't help but wonder if his Mom and Dad were also going to pay a downpayment on a home for their other 2 children.

Hes too old to be treated like a child. He's really selfish to let his older parents get a second mortgage at their age.
