Got to agree Jonathon, been to a few islands when young and a pisshead,but for the last 3 tears have been to Tsiliivi in Zante and the food is wonderful. You can actually taste what food should taste like, not like the forced supermarket rubbish we have. I long for our next trip there (September hopefully). Best wishes, Neil.

You're lucky you chose wisely because there are definitely some places that you have to avoid in terms of quality , I know because I've visited plenty of times and lived there for awhile. George's souvlaki is one of the few good places. Great video

You are a man after my own heart sir, I always say why didn't we buy two 😂But you are so right in saying no fast food chain can compete with the Gyros bars in Greece. We go to Skiathos and though it's nice to eat out in a restaurant in the evening, our favourite is to walk off the beach pick up a Gyros and pastries and do as you two do. Nice video, now I am hungry. Our local supermarket sells quite a number of Greek pastries, not sure if they also have Bougatsa, but want that now, lol. Glad that the bakery was one of few places, besides when you were flying, that you need to wear your face diaper. Can't imagine going my whole holiday, especially in a place like Parga, with the thing on.

Bougatsa is a very common Greek sweet so there is a good chance you can buy them :-D They are very sweet, not for everybody but if you like Koeksisters you will also like them :-D We plan to go back again during this summer, but it depends on what restrictions there will be. I am really enjoying these Parga videos. I must say you are very good at making these videos, it feels like we are there with you. I could live on Gyros and the pastries are delicious too, but they need to be eaten in small amounts as they are very sweet. As Maro said, ideally you should have a small piece with your tea or coffee or after a meal. Thank you for the videos! Parga 2022, here we come! :-)

HeHe, that was quite a "Little Snack" wasn´t it!! As far as we can recall there was no dinner after any of those "snacks", HaHa! We do a lot of walking when we are on holiday so that helps burn some of the calories. Maro recovers quickly from extra kilos from holidays but it can take months for me (Maxi) to loose the extras ;-) Life also has to be enjoyed :-D Have a good day and week ahead! a small tip for the beer drinking ppl who want a real greek beer , ask for vergina beer. its the only real greek beer , all others like mythos or fix or alpha are just greek sounding beers owned by heineken and carlsberg company. sideeffect : vergina also tastes the best of all ;)
