Parineeti is absolutely out of tune, not prepared... on top of that giving excuses for her bad performance. It is a movie on musicians... obviously they will be asked to sing during promotions. She should have practiced and come prepared. Instead, she is blaming the musicians, co-stars, and team. Naach na jaane, Angan tedha. And she was cast in the role only on the basis that she can sing like Amarjot, now why is she blaming Amarjot's scale during promotions?? She was absolutely out of tune, ill-prepared, and on top of that blamed her team and co-stars who were doing their job well and with full sincerity. Very bad of her as an artist and Performer, to blame somebody else for your shortcomings. She is clearly playing the blame-game, and gaslighting Diljit here. I hope he never works with her again. Very bad of her as an artist to shame and blame your artist/co-star like this publicly. Shame on her ! She really hurt him while doing so.

I can relate to what Pari ma'am said about the high note. Many male singers sing in their range and female singers usually sing high to match up to that scale. Patriarchy in music 😅 was more prevalent in the old days...may be it still is. However, music has evolved so much now and there are so many songs sung by female singers in their comfortable range. It is good to see such changes and variety being accepted.
