Paris 1969 - Gare de la Bastille

Well done composition of rare black and white photographies, Thanks for your achievement and for showing here. It brings good memories back to me when having travalled to Paris in the 60ies.

Thank you. The photos were shot with a Voightlaender folding 35 mm camera on Kodak Infrared film as an experiment. That was a crazy idea, but it gave the effect of the Paris in great old photography (example: Brassai). It was awkward doing both sound recording and photography and finding my way in a city that I only knew from books and movies, but now it seems to have been worth it.

@erniegannsmate - Merci! If you haven't seen it already, I recommend the book Brassaï, Paris by Night, published in English in 1987. It was originally published as Paris de Nuit in France. It has some great black & white photos, all at night. This new edition came out after my time in Paris, but I think that style of photography seen long ago influenced me. During my visits to Paris I usually had the feeling that I had been there before.
