I love to watch videos on Paris, and there are many without the obvious landmarks. You video stunned me with the stroll along St. Canal Martin. I've been to Paris many times and was unaware of this. WOW. Thank you so much. I will say I'm not sure Sacre Coeur is off the tourist route, but I love it. I would add to my list of "Simple Pleasures" a stroll through Pere Lachaise. The cobblestone paths, landscape, monuments, incredible and stunning gravestones and mausoleums, amid the who's who of the famous dead is my favorite part of Paris. Parisians are just as colorful and interesting dead as they were alive! Thanks for this video - Awesome!

I was very impressed by the number of bike lanes and how well there were used. It certainly beats driving! Lucky you to be able to live in such a beautiful city.

Love this Maureen! It really makes sense that following a canal through the city would be a great way to get oriented- great tips!
